The debut co-op release by DIRTY GLASSEZ and N95 brings together the best of both worlds, combining a melancholic atmosphere with ghetto tech/footwork aesthetics.

CLOUDTEK reworks the aesthetics of the digital positivity and glossy futurism of the 2000s into a more mature, minor key form. Simple ringtone vaporwave melodies take on a thoughtful sound, shimmering in an ambient haze. Drums borrowed from ghetto genres add a special energy to the music.

At the intersection of two extremes — lively ghetto and airy futurism — cloudtek emerged, manifesting itself in a scattering of contradictory genres

We are almost out the other side of this insane year, and we at GGHQ hope that you are all safe and sound. The music never stops, and we hope that our friends have all found some solace and enjoyment through the simple acts of listening, discovering & sharing. 

We're super happy to see out 2020 with this, our last mix of the year. We couldn't be in better hands to be honest. Øyvind is a top selector, producer, remixer and he is one of those DJ's who is beyond versatile. He just knows music inside and out and is a formidable talent in the booth... genre and sounds are no barriers to him and his own style is unmatched. A longtime former resident at Oslo's clubbing institution JAEGER, Øyvind held down Wednesday nights there for a decade plus welcoming a host of global DJ luminaries and tastemakers into his zone. 

Here we find Øyvind in a relaxed mood, combing his impressive collection for more spaced out and downtempo grooves, offering a deep selection to soothe and get lost in. We're really pleased to present this lovely mix to you from our friend and someone who we feel is a true talent out there in the vast world of music we all inhabit. Spark one up, and shadow dance with us....
