A modern Chicago polymath, multi-instrumentalist Peven Everett has been a stalwart fixture in the city's intertwined R&B, jazz, and deep house scenes since the '90s, playing in touring bands for Branford Marsalis,  Winton Marsalis and others. Everett's voice is likely the most notable contribution to Chicago music, famously collaborating with Roy Davis Jr. on the timeless crossover single "Gabrielle".
