Australian producer with decades of experience is Danny Bonnici, and a name synonymous within the electronic music scene, returns to his best with a blistering remix aimed directly at the dancefloor. Driven by a chest-thumping kick and head-shaking percussive groove, his remix then blends original elements from 'The Sky Was Purple' with a host of sounds and atmospheric effects that swim in dizzying fashion around the listener’s head, especially at the stripped back breakdown. Evocative pads reach through the mix as the track gains momentum once more in frenzied fashion during a dramatic closing movement.

Iconic German artist, Andre Lodemann. A veteran of releases on the likes of Poker Flat, and Defected, the Berlin-based producer has created an innovative new interpretation that turns 'The Sky Was Purple' on its head. Familiar pads and soundscapes float across a rolling beat before a growling bassline enters the fray. A sprawling landscape of sounds fire across the stereo spectrum before a new arpeggiated sequence then hits the heights with a nod firmly towards James Holden’s original phrasing.
