Dirty Grooves 023 - September Show - Saturo Sounds Radio

Kamilo Sanclemente makes a long awaited debut.

Breaking onto the scene some 9 years ago on Einmusika, Kamilo's trajectory has been prolific. Signed to Global Underground, Balance and UV, to name a few, his signature sound has set dancefloors on fire all over the world. Now with multiple Beatport top 10s, including three number one hype charts, Sanclemente continues to pioneer the Columbian progressive sound.

Opening with 'Luminize' Sanclemente's silky smooth studio skills transform this sparse groove into a thing of beauty. Taking time to set the stage, clever keys and orchestration elevate the track into a pre-peak monster full of emotion and soul. 

Next up, label favourite Graziano Raffa is on remix duties, and takes us on a deeper hypnotic vibe, plenty of groove and retaining the warmth from the original, underpinned by its bubbling bassline and wonderful chord changes for additional drama.

Rounding off the package is  'Parabelle', which  takes us on a deeper, acidic path. Taking its cue from classic disco, the airy pads and summery keys have a sense of Studio54 about them creating a timeless work of art.

The second episode of the microCastle podcast welcomes label artist Jamie Stevens. The Australian producer is coming off the release of his second original project for us entitled 'The Healing'. Released earlier this month, the four track EP featured a Guy J remix  and was a huge success reaching #7 and #2 in the Beatport overall and Electronica Top 100s respectively. The EP's lead cut, the deep and emotive 'My Tears Don't Help Me' has been regarded as some of Jamie's most unique work to date and also reached #1 in the KissFM Australia charts. For Jamie's podcast showcase we've chosen his live set from the Chameleon Recordings 7 year anniversary event from August 15th.  Jamie had the honour of closing the event out and it was certainly one to remember, as he effortlessly worked through varied styles of hypnotic techno and indistinct melodies,  to an eventual finale where at the urging of Chameleon Recordings boss Steve Ward, he drops his classic Infusion bootleg of Kate Bush 'Running Up That Hill', now over 13 years old and was a favourite of Sasha, Digweed, Nick Warren and a long list of other DJs for quite some time. 'Mistral' was originally released on the '10 yrs of Systematic' compilation on CD only, but after a massive public demand it was clear that it must be released on vinyl and backed by new remixes.
