On this Balance Selections, Cortona balances analog nostalgia with modern fluidity. Featuring tracks from Mike Rish, Jamie Stevens, and Hermanez, this nearly three-hour mix leans into nocturnal energy to deliver a vintage progressive punch, weaving deep builds and emotive peaks into a seamless late-night journey.

ALMA is the alias of María Pedraza, a DJ and producer from Rosario, Argentina, known for her emotive, tech-leaning approach to progressive music. Rooted in versatility, her productions and DJ sets blend textured rhythms with immersive emotional layers. Recent releases on Shine Music and Droid9 South America showcase her dub-inflected sound that hints at an unique creative voice.

On this Balance Selections mix, ALMA makes true on that promise with a heads-down, smoked-out session that is cerebral and tough in equal measure. Featuring tracks from Hermanez, Christian Smith, Montw, and more, it’s a set built for dark rooms and late-night introspection.

About the Song:
"Endurance" is a Tech House track that blends hypnotic swing with a spiritual narrative. The vocal simulates an angel guiding someone too ashamed to dance. As the groove intensifies, so does the inner transformation. Already tested live and downloaded by Fisher, it's both a club banger and a call to authenticity. Perfect for playlists like mint, House is a Feeling, and New Dance Beats.

In the darkness of the dancefloor, a character hesitates. The beat starts, but he doesn't move. Not because he doesn't want to, but because he's afraid of being judged. Then a voice emerges, not just any voice, but a presence: an angel.

That's how Endurance begins, a track Karpan wrote as if it were a whisper from heaven, encouraging someone to find courage. The vocal drives the narrative like an inner monologue, led by an entity urging: "Don't resist. Just do it."

With its Tech House identity, the track features a progressive swing and immersive groove. The musical build mirrors the emotional journey: it begins tense and restrained, then gradually frees itself, until it bursts into energy and movement. It's as much an emotional arc as it is a musical one.

Already tested in live sets, Endurance has been enthusiastically received by crowds and even caught the attention of global names like Fisher, who downloaded.

Endurance is about dancing, yes. But it's also about faith, action, trust. And realizing that sometimes, the greatest act of resistance… is to stop resisting.
