Rising from the streets of Northern Va, with a distinct, unique and undeniable voice, artist  J.J. Honcho made sure music would never be the same especially his own. With minor setbacks as far as being homeless, facing extreme poverty and being blessed to stay alive from multiple  shootouts J.J. Honcho seems to be right on track.

Influenced by artist such as Meek Mill, Biggie Smalls, T.I., J. Cole, and Nipsey hussle (as well as the ultra stylings of the DMV sound), J.J. Honcho began recording at the age 19 with a usb microphone hooked up to his computer in his grandma's basement, honoring his DMV roots while chronicling  the street life/reality in regards to the area he grew up in. Struggling to find constant time to record and put out great music, J.J. Honcho willingly did whatever he had to do in order to succeed and make fans happy. With 1 mixtape released and 2 EP's J.J. Honcho looks to show what nobody noticed. The uncanny like talent and will power to grow, tapping into another level that comes with growth, sacrifice and patience.
