Ben was born 1990 in Berlin. With ten years he begun to play drums Two years later he discovered his love for djing At this point his passion for electronic music grows constantly, till to his first own production ideas, which he has realized then in the age of seventeen. 2008 he decided to go for audioengineer studies. After he has finished the studies, he rent a studio in Berlin With influnces from Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ralf Hildenbeutel, Klaus Jankuhn, Hardy Hard , Todd Terje or Todd Terry he’s developing his sound 2013 he has had his debut release on 99 waves with the sunstroke EP and his Album “Klimaanlage” on Clubstream Mix. In June 2014 he released the “Palm EP” on Bounce House Recordings. After this release his music becomes deeper and he did really important steps to develope his new sound So the next decision was to change the artist name to B Selekt and he stands now for a real wide range sound which belongs allways to the dancefloor.

In the meantime his releases were played by Mental X (SRF Virus Radio), Marcelo Méndez (TunnelFM), Wellenrausch (FriskyRadio), Dj Sharelese(KEXP 90.3FM Seattle), Andromedha (Progressions Radio), Milos Miladinovic (The Balkan Connection), Mad Fax (The Showcase), Michon (Polyptych Podcast), Airwave (LCD Sessions), Denis A (DAR Sessions), Karol Micheluzzi (mIXoNe Radio), Alfonso Muchacho (Synthetics) .

Since 2016 he created Selekt_Blue and Selekt_Red an ongoing podcast series, which delivers a solid, diversity of tracks threw several electronic genres.

The idea of Balkan Connection was started in 2005. After several successful EP's and debut artist album on Proton Music, during the year's of 2006. and 2007. Ogi Gee Cash decided to launch label based on popular radio show, The Balkan Connection on Proton Radio. Since late 2009, label is being managed by Milos Miladinovic.

Balkan Connection is one of the best digital music labels on the planet, respectively the best Eastern European label too. Our aim is to unite talents of the progressive house sound from the Balkan region and the world over, from established names to upcoming talents, on the way to conquer the world stage of electronic music. Carefully selected music under the supervision of the Balkan Connection manager have made this label as one of the best and most established music brands worldwide!

Over the years, 530+ releases came out, featuring various artists and various genre's, with the biggest focus on progressive house.  We had a pleasure to work with over 800 amazing artists from around the world.

Our releases have been supported by top artists such as: Hernan Cattaneo, Eric Prydz, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Guy J and many others.
