The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint finds the label showcasing the 11th edition of their popular 'Three Of A Kind' series. These VA EP releases feature three producers who contribute two originals, with the end result being a unique amalgamation of sound, something which has now become synonymous with the Sound Avenue affiliate. Invited to showcase their talents for the eleventh edition are artists from Argentina, South Korea & Greece respectively.

The release opens with Gaspar Aguilera & Manu Pavez. Two young upcoming producers with a lot of more releases in the pipeline on our labels. Manu made his debut a weeks ago on Sound Avenue's "Correlation Vol.5" LP. Downpour is also no stranger with releases before on our "We Are The Future" compilation. Chris Doppler is making his label debut with two nice deep originals.

Celebrating a label debutant, a talented South American joins the Proton Music roster and its 500+ releases, as we welcome Paul Deep and his 3-track, "Orchid" EP.

From the O'Brien Province, west of Buenos Aires, Paul Deep is an established name within the underground dance music fraternity. Purveyor of a distinctive blend of progressive and organic house, the Argentinean star has been involved in the music industry since the age of 13. Charting an impressive path to notoriety with a 2017 debut on Juan Pablo Torrez's Clubsonica Records and a subsequent double century of production credits to his name, Paul has found his music signed to a host of blue chip labels. GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile, Lee Burridge's Tale & Tone and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music have all played host to original EPs from the Paul Deep production studio, while remixes for Juicebox Music, Mango Alley and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden have showcased another side of his production arsenal.

Now making his Proton Music debut, the conceptual "Orchid" EP opens with the stunning title track. Through a trademark rolling groove and heavy beat, smooth melodic patterns filter into sonic range before weaving a magical pattern at the breakdown. Intwining sonic textures and delicate harmonies, these then evolve into a subtly cadenced motif in the second half that gradually opens up into a delicately shimmering crescendo.

"Passionflower" makes its presence felt with a club-friendly rhythmic backdrop that paves the way for a huge sub-bass to add to the groove. Trademark muted chords syncopate effortlessly with the percussion as haunting pads and atmospheric effects drift across the breakdown. Building throughout, the tracks waxes and wanes in dynamic fashion to create an emotive work.

The final piece of the musical triptych sees, "Sunflower" offering a chunky rhythm and ticking hi-hat accompaniment. With its delicate organic house vibe, a searing synth line melds with counterpoint motif and gently pulsating pads that come to the fore at the beatless breakdown. Full of filmic quality through its woven sonic textures and immaculately production technique, the result is a production of rare quality and craftsmanship.

With stunning new music blossoming on Proton Music Music, Paul Deep is in full bloom with "Orchid".

An artist with an impeccable production portfolio, Dimuth K has become an established force in the underground dance scene with his atmospheric sound. Returning to Proton Music he excels once more with "Avalanche / The Shaman".

Since a move to Toronto, Dimuth wasted little time by throwing himself into the dance scene of his newly adopted homeland, performing at iconic venues including Stereo Montreal, Coda and Guy J's We Are Lost Festival. As accomplished behind the decks as he is in the studio, the award-winning Dimuth K has produced standout releases for the likes of Mango Alley, Hoomidaas, Plattenbank and GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile. Dimuth's "Minesweeper / Beams Aglow" EP for Proton Music was another powerful reminder of the Sri Lankan-born Canadian's production credentials as the global lockdown began in March 2020.

Now returning to Proton, "Avalanche" is characterised by a fizzing percussive groove and heavy beat. Driven by rapid-fire shakers, acid-tinged synth motifs filter in and out of sonic range in the early stages. Accompanied by atmospheric pads, glassy motifs evolve out of the aural melange and into a beatless breakdown full of white-noise risers and effects. Heavily coated in sumptuous reverb, the track builds into the second half with its combination of pads and floating melodies. The result is a gorgeous, free-flowing affair that showcases Dimuth K's production skills.

Partner track, "The Shaman" hits the ground running with its cavernous kick and lilting top-line percussion. A delicious bass groove soon enters the fray in perfect syncopation while ethereal melodies drift across the near 9-minute piece with gentle ease. Simultaneously, an off-kilter motif hypnotises with its distinctive cadence and hypnotic phrasing. Continuing into the stripped back mid-point break, "The Shaman" picks up again where it left off in a third movement, full of poise and other-worldly sonic fragments. The combination of rhythm, bass and meandering melody makes for an elegant finale.

Through two new tracks of the highest order, Dimuth K cascades into a new sonic future with "Avalanche / The Shaman".
