The lead track ''No Rest'' Featuring MC Fox on mic duties has a laidback bubble to it, while on the Flip Marcus Visionary brings it to his trademark Ragga-Jungle territory for all the Junglistic soldiers.

The second vocal on this Riddim comes from our good friend Parly B, and he is rapidly becoming one of Irish Moss's favourite MC. His song ''Need Some Rest'' gets a good dose of re-works by Part2Style, Danny T & Tradesman, Dirty Dubsters and Balkans Hifi covering a few different basses.

El “Spanish Roots” nace en un momento de crisis económica personal cuando, al no tener dinero para comprar discos nuevos, me dedicaba a comprar discos de segunda mano “rebuscando en los cajones de abajo” (que en un principio iba a ser el título original hasta que decidí orientarlo únicamente a los temas más cañí). Tras mucho rebuscar y reescuchar y, tras muchas fiestas populares ambientadas por bandas de pueblo y mucha cazalla, me di cuenta que en realidad un tema que fue pepino en su época sigue conservando las claves para serlo también hoy en día. Tan solo hacía falta remezclarlo con un tema más actual para que la gente lo escuchase como algo diferente y no como una parte del pasado. 
Así nació el “Spanish Roots” entre el año 2005 y 2006. Lo grabé todo casi del tirón para después retocarlo. Pero los retoques se hicieron interminables y cada vez que acometía la edición me agobiaba y lo dejaba aparcado. Tanto fue así que tengo 10 versiones diferentes de la sesión y cada una dista casi en año y medio de la anterior y con modificaciones tan sutiles que ni sé por qué las guardé… Pero, en fin, la sesión ya está lista en tan solo 7 años.
