Mike Masons is a multi-lingual rap/hip-hop collective based in Groningen, Netherlands. During the pandemic Jay Waldo, Balmi and MarLow came together to create music and share their passion for it.

Slowly more and more artists started to join the group from different ethnicities, countries, believes and backgrounds. All with one focus: making music together. 

With the doors still open, Mike Masons is bringing new music out and a platform for artists to connect, network, make music and have fun.

Omafiets means “granny bike” in Dutch, referring to a beloved urban bicycle model in the Netherlands. This simple yet meaningful object symbolizes a harmonious union between machine and human, embodying balance, simplicity, and dynamism. Inspired by these qualities, Omafiets is a musical project that seeks to reflect the same concepts in its sound: harmony, straightforwardness, and fluid movement.
The project blends organic sounds, peaceful melodies, and tribal rhythms, all united by the house genre. It is a tribute to the beauty of profound yet uncomplicated connections, much like the relationship between human and bike.
