The Baltic Soul Weekender is not only a music festival it also supports legendary soul artists all over the world. Due to bad contracts and mismanagement many of them need to buy their music and photographs like many other artists in record shops themselves. Many of these artists neither have national insurances nor pension funds. When they reach the retirement age, many of them are close to homelessness.

Der Baltic Soul Weekender ist nicht nur ein Musikfestival für Erwachsene, sondern unterstützt gleichzeitig legendäre Soul Künstler in der ganzen Welt. Viele dieser Künstler besitzen weder Sozial- noch Rentenversicherungen und sobald sie das Rentenalter erreichen, sind viele von ihnen nahe an der Obdachlosigkeit.
