effgee returns on his own imprint fellice with three deep house cuts, warm, soul-inspired and topped with dreamy sampled vocals. fellice 005 comes as a special edition: each sleeve is hand screen-printed by the artist, limited to 250 copies.

Another special feature is the label’s first remix: a greeting from sunny Bari to the dance floors by Italian deep house fratello Nico Lahs.

“Your Light” reaches back to effgee’s production roots – soulful sampling, dreamy textures and groove-heavy. “Birds” shifts into a fresher club direction, while “Roland Bass” brings together the essentials of his production recipe: analogue synths, sampling, and a punchy kick at the core. fellice 005 is a deeply personal record – both musically and visually.

Serenity Records is a new not-for-profit record label, aimed at raising essential awareness on the growing epidemic of mental health within the music industry, whilst also donating all proceeds of its project to various mental health charities.

One of the key features of the project is to allow the artists commissioned for each EP to have the opportunity to select the particular charity that their work will support. So for 001, John Shima & Mihail P's EP will support the work of Music Minds Matter - a charity unquestionably leading the way in making a difference to mental health issues in the music industry.

The inaugural EP beautifully intertwines between floaty synth work and hypnotic percussion - adequately serving its purpose as a resource for music lovers looking to seek refuge away from whatever problems they may face.

Moskalus Records is back and proud to share its latest release by Brazilian producers Jack District and Marc-lo. The Papaya Sorbet EP is a juicy joint project of completely smoothed out, lush-as-you-like house music that brings to mind languid days lounging under the canopy of a great jungle city, the sky clear and the air fresh. Looping synth patterns offer a heady pulse throughout the 4 tracks atop always tight and jacking percussion, crisp in character and lean in action. If you’re worried how to dance, if you can dance, if you should dance - pop this new pack of tracks into your system and you’ll be right in the move and groove, thinking to yourself - “It’s So Easy!”

Anyone who is a clubber in the South of Brazil, has probably danced to the sound of these two names: Jack District and Marc-lo.

Marc-lo paraded his musical style several times in the cabin of Terraza, a prestigious club with a great history of memorable nights, and of TROOP, collective in which he became a resident in 2016, since then maintaining a constant presence in the events of the label, playing alongside names like Moodymann, Tom Trago, Fred P., Ryan Elliot, tINI and other great artists.

On the other side is Jack District, DJ, audio engineer, music producer, but above all a real lover of House Music. In addition to passing through prestigious clubs in Brazil, he brings in his studio work what is most fresh to dialogue naturally between different styles.

If individually the two already have a very interesting history, together they have done a lot of cool stuff. At the end of last year they released the EP South Wind through Manuscript Records, from Ukraine, they also scored a song on Warung Recordings' newest VA, Solitude and recently released a EP on Brazilian label Radiola Records.

Coming from the South of Italy but now Berlin-based, Gianfranco “Nanni” Barnaba is the genius house mind behind the Ruff Stuff alias since the shared decision to split with his former sidekick François Le Roy. Growing up during the game-changing 90s era, the dance music advent has definitely had a direct impact on his current style. Like all of us, he first went from one dancefloor to another as a clubbing enthusiast before shifting interests to DJing and production. His electronic journey surprisingly first began with IDM and ambient melodies, which is the total opposite of what he has been brilliantly producing over the past decade. His sound epitomises powerful deep house cuts based on rough samples, groovy basslines, and warm pads. Besides unwaveringly dropping stunning releases on well-renowned labels like Madhouse Records, Shall Not Fade or Haŵs, he co-founded his very own one in 2015, logically baptised Ruff Stuff Music LTD. If you travel around Berlin, expect his name to be featured on Watergate, Sisyphos or IPSE line-ups along with the likes of Demuja, Dan Shake or Chaos in the CBD.

The 100% vinyl mix he is serving today sits at the intersection of rawness and delicacy. It is absolutely a treat for the house connoisseurs as he ingeniously brings first-rate jams from Grant Nelson, St. David or 100 Hz. Guys, you are clearly not ready for this.
