Put on your finest dancing shoes and brace yourselves, ravers! *Ky William* is back with a double whammy, ‘Funkay / The Gift,’ dropping October 17th via none other than TSHA’s bombshell label, Jackfruit. With two tracks designed to wreak havoc on dancefloors, these are the kind of tunes you'd find rattling the walls of any gritty warehouse or after-hours haven.

Brooklyn's own Ky William, the mastermind behind Andhera Records, is no stranger to the decks. Carving his niche with a sound rooted in the hip-hop vibes of his native scene, he's unleashed bangers on labels like Knee Deep In Sound and Solid Grooves. With over a million streams and Beatport Top 10 hits, Ky's tracks are certified floor-filler material. And now, he's locked arms with the rising US maverick Nate Katz for a collab that’s about to turn heads and move feet.

Let’s break it down. Title track ‘Funkay’ is a heady mix of pounding drums and slick bars that drop like a stone through treacle. Grinding chords and prickly percussion drive the groove, layered with neon pads and retro stabs. It's a peak-time banger that’s bound to twist the crowd into knots. Flip it over and you’ve got ‘The Gift’ featuring Nate Katz, a beast of a track that dances into deeper house territory. Wiggling acid lines rise through scattered toms, all tied together with cosmic pads. This one's a hypnotic mind-melter, full-bodied and perfect for those East Berlin sweatboxes.

The dim glow cast a hazy flourish of light across the early morning sky. Soon it would fall beneath the surface of sight and the soft moon would vanish into the warm blue of daylight.
