Emily, Lorcán, Joe, Niamh and Seán found themselves coming together as a group in 2011, drawn to each other by their love of music.

It’s clear from their music that this band is made up of five extremely different people. Pouring blood, sweat and tears into the band, rehearsals became something of a showdown. Niamh regularly broke drumsticks and Joe snapped guitar strings by the dozen, while Emily and Lorcán pulled their hair out perfecting their song writing ability. But all this desperate energy, along with their newest member, Seán on saxophone, has fused to create one of Dublin’s most exciting – and unique – new bands. 
While the sound is not strictly punk, the band is directly inspired by it's energy; this is especially evident in their live shows.

Playing at Electric Picnic, Knockanstockan, No Place Like Dome and Rhythm & Roots music festival in 2012 and a variety of popular music venues throughout Dublin, along with airplay on various radio stations, including a live session on RTE 2fm's prestigious 'Dan Hegarty Sessions', Bamboo Party are the band to watch out for in 2013! 
Bamboo Party launched their EP ‘Zorilla’ under their own label 'Divekick Records' in the Grand Social, Sat 9th June 2012. They are currently working with Dublin based independant label 'Putting Out Records' and are set to release with them in 2013.

Gregory Jackson is a musician, poet and performance artist who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in philosophy. His research topic engages Heidegger in the 1930’s, on his quest toward inciting a creative revolution that would found a new form of poetic thinking. Although their disagreements are endless, Gregory finds Heidegger’s vision inspirational and their eyes are set on similar horizons. Gregory seeks to stumble his way into the place where the distinction between art and thought is yet to arise, and has been seen wandering about the marketplace asking for directions. With a torch in one hand and a bell in the other, he tries to think both about and with his art. On the weekends he makes coffee at the Dublin Food Co-Op, and one day hopes to include this passion for coffee in his over all life pro-ject. 

Gregory the Asshole is a fiction of Gregory Jackson’s imagination but this doesn’t make him any less real. He is a submarine in the vast oceans of the Thinking Art experiment. He claims to create what he rather pretentiously calls Music for an Absent Cinema, where the participants’ meditative engagement with the work is said to hold the potential to briefly fulfil the pieces’ immanent directedness. Such resonance harbours the possibility of a momentary thinking-space, where creative de-cision can seize an arriving future.

SENU is an intense and hypnotic live act from Dublin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Sam Killeen – a home for his unique blend of electronic beats, jazz and hip-hop.

His first self produced single “Suffocating” was followed by a string of shows opening for Jazz icons Mark Guiliana (David Bowie), Evan Marien (Tigran Hamasyan) and a packed headline show at the Grand Social.

"Killeen’s second release under SENU comes in the form of a remix of a Tatsuro Yamashita tune ‘Love Talkin’. He has totally made the track his own by rewriting the core beat and bass-line, sonically weaving his own mix of hip-hop and jazz influences into it. It renders head-bopping an automatic reflex. SENU is further proof that Dublin’s music scene is constantly evolving and exploring new territories."

Frustrated by insomnia, SENU challenged himself to write and record an album in one day. ​‘Jetlag 4’ is the debut release of this experiment.

mastered by Fergal Davis.
