Under his ‘Fred und Luna’ moniker, inspired by two mannequins living in a fashion boutique in Karlsruhe, Rainer delivers a here combination of repetitive rhythms, beautiful melodies, electronic soundscapes and elements from the Krautrock era, to be found in a 5x 7” vinyl box of songs all having the same speed, length and several other prescribed patterns. 

The box is limited to 100 copies, including digits on an USB stick, a poster and an individual photo, released on Sept 18th.

At some point, the music came. Inadvertently. A noise, followed by another, followed by another. Resulting in a melody, or a rhythm. Gathering everyone around, suddenly drawn by this weird lullaby, asking the neo-instrumentalists to repeat the enthralling loop, endlessly.
Then, the discovery spontaneously spread across frontiers, across ages. Up to this day, laden down with all the knowledges and influences collected along the road.
Stéréogramme, the newest Parisian label, dedicates its initial imprint to this journey. To the strange and captivating music filled with ancient sounds and atmospheres, yet produced today. As a manifesto of the coming explorations to be released: library, leftfield electronics, freak folk, minimal synth, fourth-world…

A 50-minute cassette compilation to highlight ten worldwide producers, providing two distinct listening experiences. If you had to guess, when the time comes for your last slumber, where do you think you'll wake up? Up above, along with the sun, finally relieved from a life of abstinence? Or down there, right at the center of the earth, as you gave in to temptation? But life isn't so much black and white, is it? In-between this binary conclusion, It's more than likely that we all walk another path, the one for the tormented souls who couldn't make up for their failures and mistakes. A haunted desert where we would all form a never-ending procession, our heads crimsoned by the heaven's eye looking down on us, while our feet come out in blisters from the fire and brimstone. Flames everywhere, burning everything. Flesh, bones, dreams, hope, altogether forming ash coated dunes. Look better, you might catch sight of a mirage there, probably the persistent nostalgia.

Hey, here’s a theory: couldn’t we distort it sometimes, even just a tiny bit? Because Lyon-based label SousTraitance may have managed to finally alter its course through its last compilation, a year and a half after the inaugural one.
“Looking for MTH” V/A successively stretches and contracts the passing time, or at least how we perceive it. Lose yourself in tempo fluctuations and audio glitches, between the slow, entrancing rites of Jan Loup, Israfil and Sabla, the atmospheric dilatations of Isabassi, Marion Castor and Inhmost, or the high-paced, feverish, raging outbursts of Tera Octe, Loïcc and Tadan.

The Russian artist, through his 'Kundalini Shaktipata' mix, gathered 1 hour and 45 minutes of spiritual fourth-world, meditative drone, avant-garde jazz, neoclassical acts and blissful new-age... all explanations below:

"This mix is a ritual instrument aimed at awakening the hidden divine force - Kundalini - within a person.

There are two approaches to awakening Kundalini: active and passive.
The active approach includes yoga practices, meditation, and special breathing techniques.
The passive approach is when you need to surrender and let go of all obstacles on the path to awakening.

From the two-tracker exudes a fragile yet tense atmosphere, courtesy of JS Donny's unique presence, haunting vocals - soaring from restorative whispers to anguished screams – and raw energy electric guitar riffs. Further enhanced by the talents of Sarah-Louise Barbett (Drums), Jano aka Janomax (samples, keyboards) and Nadja Meier (bass), the recording seamlessly interweaves elements of slow-rock, shoegaze-folk, and soft-metal, all infused with progressive influences. A masterfully-performed balancing act between the ‘Busin***’ bittersweet ballad, and the ‘Never Forget U’ insurrectional outlet.

Fluid, versatile, generous and resolutely freakish, Israfil evolves in a trippy and weirdo universe. Established for over 10 years as one of the pillars of Metaphore Collectif and their Meta haven of many fantasies, the Marseille's minot is well known for propagating the free parties and club scene tumultuous energy. Though, here a secret that's no secret: you can't resist the sweet song of the naiads when you've been facing the Mediterranean your whole life. Every now and then, Israfil opens the gates of his "Eden in a dream" mix series, broadcasting the blissfull sound from above. Today, the holy stream is on again for the fourth time, delivering one hour of delicate jazz, aerial trip-hop and downtempo serenades.
