This song is a spin off an unreleased song titled “Obscene Profanities”, or maybe “Profane Obscenities”; I still can’t decide, ha. Who knows anyway, and who cares? I only know the insane, toxic spectacle that is the American Administration Ego & Greed Masquerade Gone Bananas makes absolutely no sense; that is the least I can say, I guess. Yet, I can’t help but(t) care, deeply—for the people, and history, truth, justice, liberty, equality, fraternity, you know, logic, progress, and humanity? (God knows) I’m so, so struggling, if only to find the words, the words that match the depth of my dismay, my literal sidération, which TBCH is turning into deeper despair everyday. That much I know I know, I’m afraid. And FWIW, candor is my superpower, and I excel at ruminating, too LOL... Sigh. Ah.

I wrote the song(s) on Easter weekend, after suffering yet again the insanity that is watching (only because he’s overwhelmingly polluting my feeds, no matter how much I don’t want #metoo) FOTUS—aka the only convict rap!st Felon Christian Supremacist Dictator who took the presidential Oath without putting his hand on the Bible—quacking like the shameless, soulless liar he is, acting as pompous as ever, speaking of gratitude and holy afterlife, AS IF! 

This EPx5 series could def use some mastering love, but(t) considering the ambient mediocrity, and the fact it’s basically sung with puke in my mouth, I figured, it’s only more authentic this way, ha (I wish I was laughing, I quack you not, butt)…

… because life on earth is a Psychedelic Cabaret, and “music is the only religion that delivers the goods” (like Frank said). 

To be clear, all I really know is I dunno shit about fck (like Socrates said:)—music and songwriting included. But(t) I feel it, the music, so damn deeep in my soul! I’m just a humble existential fool, a silly banana who likes to play and share, to question and learn. Words are my oldest best friends, hearing myself sing is a freaking miracle (trust me on that lol), and I believe curiosity and #gratitude are the keys to happiness… So voilà, there’s that.

Also, (if you’re curious) BananaSutra is not just a made up BS brand kinda word, it’s actually the name of my DIY Bible—a collection of songs telling true stories of faith, to help me (and perhaps you) make sense of a world gone wild, like bananas gone foul in shallow ignorance and deadly malevolence… Think of it as an agnostic testament of sorts, an audio book of songs with quirky lyrics about things that matter, like the definition of right and wrong, and the meaning of truth, joy, justice, peace, grace, and awe 🕊️

Some call it Artificial Intelligence, but(t) I call Authentic Imagination, Alternative Ideas, Augmented Innuendos, Abstract Illogisms… hopefully, you get the gist?
