'Raven / Changes' is the new two-original EP by argenitian producers Teleport-X @teleportx and Agustín Ficarra @agustinficarra , which is completed by two remixes by Spanish Integral Bread @integralbread and also Argentinian Andrés Moris @andrees-moris 

The tandem formed by Teleport-X and Agustín Ficarra results in a perfect symbiosis, where each producer contributes his skills to achieve a progressive house sound, full of emotional atmospheres and psychedelic elements.

Andrés Moris's remix offers a less hypnotic version, which uses of several elements of the version in addition to adding the sounds and grooves that characterize this young producer.

Univack's boss Integral Bread provides a remix that is somewhat different from what this veteran Spanish producer has accustomed us to. His version of 'Changes' is closer to pure Progressive House, with less dark elements and a global groove that develops until almost the end of the track.

Ias Ferndale & Aurel den Bossa - The Sky Is Red (Original Mix) [Univack]

'Hitting the heights once more on their Meanwhile imprint, GMJ and Matter turn to the iconic figure of Navar for the label's 38th release as he delivers his 3-track "Return of the Sun".

A dazzling career that spans over a decade and a double century of releases, Navar has seen his music featured on the likes of Guy J's Lost and Found, Cid Inc's Replug and Eelke Kleijn's Outside The Box Music.

Now returning to Meanwhile after his remix of Alex O'Rion's "The Chase" in February 2022, the "Return of the Sun" title track is a compelling blend of rhythmic dynamism and trademark melodic prowess. Building over the course of its coruscating 9-minute voyage, elegant and flowing melodies drift atop a deep kick and shimmering hi-hats. Redolent in cascading delays, blissful warmth radiates through the sonic layers that pause briefly for breath at the two-thirds point, before picking up the pace in the latter stages in a work where new motifs enter the aural collage.

Opening with atmospheric pads and rippling effects, "Trips" slowly hits is stride with heavy beat and clicking percussive groove. A subtle and intelligent offering, delicate melodies play across the mid-range in syncopated delays while a seismic legato bassline pitches its way in lockstep with the rhythmic foundation. The result is a shimmering beauty that unexpectedly draws to a dramatic and vibrant conclusion with a new 16th note bassline groove in the final movement.

The aptly titled "Luminescence" concludes the triptych with a huge bassline groove and velvety synth line that scuds across the sonic landscape in stereo-panned glory. Stratified layers of sound make their play as twinkling keys and counterpoint motifs rise and fall in a beautifully woven tapestry. The result is the perfect juxtaposition of low-end vibrancy and majestic melodic touch that is a hallmark of the Navar production sound.

A renowned artist who has always shone brightly in the electronic music firmament, Navar glows incandescent with "Return of the Sun".'

Ahead of the full Karol XVII & MB Valence remix album arriving later in the year, Get Physical Music is back with a second selection taken from it. Guy J and Compuphonic provide fresh new versions while the remixes from Jackspeare and Karol XVII & MB Valence are from the vaults.

Guy J has been at the forefront of the prog house scene for decades. The Lost & Found label head is a master of melody and shows that here with his take on 'Waterfall Drops.' It's a slow-burning gem with diffused pads and twinkling melodies that captivate the head as well as the heel. Compuphonic is Maxime Firket and someone who has an expansive sound and has produced several underground hits on labels like Exploited. His take on 'Sonus & Bang Bang' is brilliantly lush, harmonic and soft focus, with distant steel drums and shimmering melodies bringing sophisticated sound to the grooves.

Karol XVII & MB Valence's 'The Last Update Mix' of 'Waterfall Drops' is one with loose, jangling chords and drums. It's light and airy with a dubby low end full of warmth. Label regular Jackspeare closes out with a spine-tingling deep house rework with cute melodic hooks and sombre chords over a persuasive beat.

This is a second superb remix EP before the full collection arrives later in the year.

Justin Marchacos returns to Brian Cid’s Endangered label with Megalithic Structures; a 6 track LP of powerful melodic techno & progressive house, which includes a collaboration with Berlin’s Midas 104.

Based in NYC, and a core artist of Endangered, Justin Marchacos has been steadily growing his profile since his first release on the imprint in 2018.  As the follow up to his most recent EP on the legendary Cocoon label last year, this package of all originals is his largest artistic output to date, and a bold expression of his current musical direction.

“The Traveller” starts it off, and his background as a film composer is on full display with an extended orchestral intro.  When the beat kicks in, high energy is shown right from this first track and the tone is set.  “Invasion” follows and contains a heavy groove, stripped back production, and chopped up vocal samples that all create a fantastic swing.   The title track “Megalithic Structures” is next up, and is the collaboration with Midas 104.  Justin’s style, combined with Midas 104’s signature melancholic deep house and dreamy synths, creates a perspective of the sound of the future while at the same time referencing empires of old.  “Pas de Chance” follows, and is the most driving track of the album and the apex of this plot.  “Noose” signals a change in direction towards a more progressive sound, and “Pursuit” is the closer with full emotions released to end this chapter.

Justin describes the project: ““Feeling completely blessed to have the opportunity at this moment in my life to share some of the most powerful stories I’ve written... stories which bring strong, raw emotions to the listener. I wrote these in my own language... a language that is a reflection of my personality, but can be understood by anyone in the world. This is the beauty of music. I want my listeners to experience strange and unusual emotions...not just simple happiness and sadness, but feelings of gritty confidence, power mixed with bliss, wonder mixed with driving momentum, and pure joy. This collection of tracks has been years in the making, but firmly reflects my current aesthetic and the direction I’ve been moving as an artist. These tracks all have a very strong, personal meaning to me... and I could not be more excited to finally share them with the world.”
