Hi guys and welcome to IntransikBeats Podcast #013. Vince Lorenz on the mic, and today we have ‘Perkussiv’s Label owner’ CUBEX in the mix, from Switzerland. This episode will definitely set you in the mood for this 2014 Halloween weekend. 

We start up the journey with an exclusive track from Cubex himself, called Brick Top, that s coming out on Solid Groove Records really soon. The tracklist is mostly composed of his own productions or remixes signed to DMT records, Silent Hell, Elite of Techno and he s also released on other great labels such as Hex Label, Login Records, Concepto Hipnotico, Darker Sounds, and many more. 
I think it’s interesting to mention that this live dj set was recorded with an ipad as third source for integrating extra sounds and elements, which adds an artistic complexity to the mix. 
Anyway, We are glad to have him on the show as we’ve got projects in collaboration with him coming your way really soon, so We ll keep you posted about that in the next episode.

Tex-Rec

Tex-Rec is a production definition of an artist who has been growing over the past years. One whose sound and style are at once rooted in the musical heritage of his native country Bosnia & Herzegovina and home in the digital diaspora of our globalized techno-culture. A member of the new breed of DJs, Tex-Rec, has been making a lot of noise over the past few years with a slew of undeniable productions and highly acclaimed sets at the world's leading venues. Tex-Rec has been honing his unique sound since the very beginning.

Influenced by well known producer as Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Hawtin, etc, he has not been able to take a break from making music releasing an impressive number of tracks on labels such as Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Punkt vor Strich Records, Italo Business, Frequenza Records, Wehppa Music, Machine Box, Sick Weird Rough , Lost Demo and many others. The unmistakable darkness that you hear in Tex-Rec's productions is also a hallmark of his unrelenting sets that gets over one thousand downloads per week. The interplay between the cutting techno and the modern minimal records that he produces creates a new, updated vibe which is also steeped in the storied traditions laid down by his heroes before him.

Hypnotizing every dancefloor where his music is being played, the constant cycle of inspiration and creation means that this artist sound never get old. Not knowing where he'll go next sonically is half the excitement of seeing him DJ - finally experiencing it and getting locked into his soulful vibe is the other half. Mitch’ A. aka Mitch’ Anobody, was born in 1970 in France.
He was heavily influenced by rock music, such as Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, etc..
It take a slap and fell in love with Techno Jeff Mills, the legendary “Of Changes Lives” in 1992 and “Astral Dreams” by Laurent Garnier in 1994.
The stage was set …
He touches his first turntables in 1994 and plays for private parties
It evolved in different parties, with pleasure, even voluntarily. He was sharing his love of music.

He is a director, with 20 other fans of electronic music on the page “Men who love the sound” on Facebook.

Force starts of this EP with his track Signal. Distorted electronic cries rise up from the driving bass-heavy rhythms. Jay Pace turns up the bass in Clod Hoppa, a rude and dirty work-out with sine bleeps playing off squealing sawtooth basslines. Acidizer captures the spirit of old school rave in his track Reshoot - surging acid lines, bubbling basslines and timeless percussion. Finally, new addition Judas Beast has cut a fiendish track titled I funked ya missus, locking chunky loops to killer riffs and creating perfect party music in the process.
