Conoselect is about the love for music and the groove. Born in South Italy with an inclination for rhythm, he started his musical journey playing drums and jamming with local bands.

In 2013 he moved to Rome where he approached the clubbing scene, fueling his passion for electronic beats. A few years later the discovery of an old box of LPs sparked a profound dedication to digging and collecting vinyl records, with a particular focus on House, 70's Funk, and Disco.

Since 2020, Cronoselect is based in Berlin, where he showcases his collection through carefully curated sets, seamlessly mixing between different genres and musical influences to create an immersive sound experience.

We’ve been friends and fans of Andrew for years, his legendary Lovefingers blog and podcast was an early source of inspiration for us. His ESP Institute label is one of the best places to find weird and wonderful forwarding thinking music, so we’re super happy to bring you a special mix from him! 

As usual we had a chat with him to see what he’s been up to:

“Just back from New York City, Europe and Australia tours and have been super busy gearing up ESP Institute releases for Summer. Its been a very busy year for the label, been digging loads of new strange music from around the world, and theres been loads more raves in Los Angeles these days… time flies when you’re having fun.

This mix was recorded in the record room beneath my house in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles… in the middle of the night.

I wanted to play some tough tunes that I don’t play out much and get premiere a few ESP Institute exclusives and tracks from friends as well. I feel its important as ever to keep pushing new and forward-thinking music, rather than always looking to the past, so I started off with an old leathery fave then worked through some contemporary material—drugged-out and oddball moment, then ending on an ethereal note as I usually like to do.”

Based in Berlin and originally from the South of Italy, Cronoselect has been shaping his sound since his teenage years, playing drums in live bands, spending time on dancefloors, and collecting records with passion and dedication. What began as a love for discovering and sharing new music eventually led him behind the decks. His vinyl sets move through funk, disco, house, and italo, driven by rhythm and uplifting energy. In recent years, he’s played internationally across clubs, radio shows, listening bars and festivals, appearing on platforms like Refuge Worldwide, ÆDEN, Revier Südost, Bangkok Community Radio, and The Disco Express. In Berlin, he’s part of the Disco Panini collective, curating community events that bring dancers and selectors together.
