"Upon stumbling across the music produced by Mike Rish in mid 2017 we immediately knew that this relationship between label and artist would be ongoing. His debut EP “Strive” gained immediate success in the charts and the early support from world renowned artist's started to become very apparent. His follow up EP “Decider” in 2018 did much of the same, gaining the attention from the likes of Guy J and some very prolific producers in his sphere. After his 3rd EP in 2019 titled “Abyss”, we knew that Mike’s output of music was quite unmatched and that an album would be our next port of call.

Since the process begun of finalising Mike’s debut album, there’s been a few late nights, a few dinners and multiple red wines until the final tracklist was confirmed. During this time, two heavyweights of the game Nick Muir and Jamie Stevens both remixed one of Mike’s records, which was received extremely well all over the world and catapulted Mike’s name within the progressive house circles.

"This idea of putting this collection of music together was when I realised in late 2018 that I had enough music for at least a couple of albums. The album was about reaching that milestone as an artist, but it was also about putting out a large chunk of music to show how serious I am about making music. The process resulted in an insane output of music. The pool of music we had to select the album from was nearly 60 songs, spanning from 2016 to 2020 and there were 3 iterations of the album before it became what it is today. It is the result of many long days and nights in the studio. It helped me develop as an artist immensely with the need for constant experimentation in sound design and arrangement. Although this is my hobby, it consumes every minute of my day inside my head, I’m obsessed, and have been since 2003/2004. Not much else interests me.........."Interlinked" is about that link between what's in my head and what comes out of it in the form music.""

Release Info: Singapore-based Indian artist - Aman Anand makes his much awaited return to Juicebox Music after his initial appearance in 2016 with his remix of Blusoul's "Depth of Emotion". Aman's growth as a producer has been solidified with the success of his music being released on Hernan Cattaneo's 'Sudbeat', Mango's 'Mango Alley', Jelly For The Babies 'One of A Kind' as well as Paul Hazendonk's 'Manual Deep' and 'MNL'. Chunky, driving and twisted are all common attributes that describe his style and he approached his remix of Jiminy Hop's "Tension" with that in mind while turning it into overdrive to elevate the experience.

After his initial appearance on Juicebox Music via his remix of Subandrio's "Sigirya" to his EP's "Arterials" and "Cold City", Polish-producer and label favourite - Monojoke returns to give Jiminy Hop's "Tension" his twist. A plethora of quality productions have contributed to his strong catalog of associations, namely Antrim's 'Or Two Strangers', Alexey Sonar's 'SkyTop' and John 00 Fleming's 'JOOF Aura' to name a few, while his collaborative project 'Fluente', together with Tuxedo, saw releases on Hernan Cattaneo's "Sudbeat Music" as well as Hot Since 82's "Knee Deep In Sound" and Nick Warren's "The Soundgarden". For his remix of "Tension", Monojoke injected his signature percussive-driven groove with a huge melodic breakdown to give the remix an uplifting and euphoric moment.

Bunte Kuh welcome German producer Bardia Salour to the family as his ‘Mind Control’ EP lands as their nineteenth offering. The collection brings you two originals and a trio of reworks from Heerhorst and Tisko.
The title track is up first, built around a repetitive vocal and growling underlay of rich synth and plucked melodic patterns. Bardia’a second original piece ‘Psy Fi’ welcomes throbbing bass line partnered with liquid rolling hi-hats providing the perfect foundation for the more acidic elements that arrive later.
Heerhorst then follows with the first of the remixes being his soulful disco driven rework of ‘Mind Control’ - expect a throw back sound with 80s influenced synths taking centre stage here. TIsko then slow things right down with a more stripped back approach, one that still shines the light on Bardia’s unique melody work.
Heerhorst returns to close the show with a darker take on ‘Mind Control’ as industrial sounds whirr over chugging techno grooves for a peak time club experience.

Bio:

Hertfordshire lad and self taught music producer, Myles Webb aka Xspance, Inspired by film scores and uplifting music that tells a story. He is a huge fan of artists like Jon Hopkins, Ulrich Schnauss...to name a few. After discovering his style as a UK based Electronic music producer, Myles finished and self released his debut album ‘Night Echoes’ in Feb 2014 on bandcamp, He since has remixed numerous tracks including music from the album from Echaskech – Origin, one of which appeared on the huge Touched Two compilation. He’s collaborated with Joey Fehrehbach & Audioglider who themselves have made many appearances seminal releases such as Nick Warren’s Paris GU30 compilation in 2006.
After being discovered by Norman Hines Stripped label, Xspance released his sultry track “Disappear With Me”. And over the years has since released several singles, EPs and LPs over a myriad of labels - Section Records, Ant-Zen, Just Music, Stellar Fountain, Hydrogen, NYLO, ICONYC, Traumwelten, BC2, Mirabilis Records, Loki Recordings, Mango Alley, Krafted Underground, ASTIR, Emotional Content Recordings, Honeys Drops, Pro B Tech.

At the start of 2017, Myles also got the opportunity to host his own monthly radio show called Eclipsed on blooplondon.com with some great guest artists. 

This is going to be a very busy year for Myles, he is currently putting the finishing touches to 2 collaboration projects with songwriter and vocalist Daniela Rhodes and Joey Fehrenbach both long players which are set for release in the early part of 2021, so watch this space!

Depth Perception Sessions #19 - Xspance

Le Roy is back once again on the label. This time with a fabulous 2 track release which contains an original and radio edit.
Convergence can be found at the crossroad of house and melodic techno. It's one great happy groove with swung beats and an uplifting vibe. The Way Forward is more rhythmic with the smooth bassline and woods. Melancholic and emotive sums it up, making you long for the summer. Mid track it gets a more rugged and bouncy affair.

 Our next EP marks the comeback of FiveP, the moniker that hides the italian melodic-techno maestro Marco Cinquepalmi. After releasing a well-received ‘Synergy EP’ in our firm, which included a remix from Betoko, Bari based FiveP is back to drop ‘Lockdown EP’. 
 Composed of two tracks with deep melodies and electronic basis, 'Lockdown EP' drives listener until converging into melodic-techno territory. This genre is without any doubt the place where FiveP gives us his best, as he recently demonstrated by winning a Poker Flat contest remixing the iconic Hannes Bieger.

Regarding to ‘Lockdown EP’, the track that entitles the EP is an absolute winning horse since its very first beats. A raw kick plus an off-beat bassline are the main ingredients of the composition. With such a solid ground, the italian adds with great success great elements such as the detuned lead which evolves unpredictably offering us an emotive peak-time moment.    Next up, and following the same techno taste, ‘Independence Day’, starts things with sharp hi-hats and drone notes that helps bassline in order to build a nice low end. Chromatic up and down synth melodies appear suddenly causing great impact as listener can feel during the epic breakdown.
