From the very start of Bonebrokk’s debut album, we are plunged into a downward spiral of industrial percussion and distorted voices. ‘Altered Realities’ builds a terrifying maelstrom out of what sounds like an engine in a deep tunnel, a seismic alarm, and a hype MC calling for help through a busted intercom. Soon a galloping kick appears and we are off to the races. From there, the record rarely lets up.

The sonic palette remains fairly consistent throughout, but the album covers a lot of ground rhythmically and stylistically, touching on deformed dancehall, hyperfuture dnb (Vassilina’s guest spot provides one of the few moments of relative tenderness), and loads of mutant, latin-inflected techno rollers. Two beatless interludes provide breathers—‘Timelines Melt’ and ‘Valey of Wolves’— although, as the titles might suggest, even these are steeped in dread.

Bonebrokk has crafted ‘In Between Two Worlds’ as a bridge into an imagined world that he can escape to, a respite from the banality of day jobs and our mundane everyday existence that club music can provide for us all.

Pindorama X700 is the new album from Brazilian artist KALOZIN, exploring contemporary electronic rhythms like Pisadinha, Brega Funk, Arrocha, Baile Funk, and Tecno Brega. KALOZIN deconstructs these styles to create fresh, innovative sounds using samples, broken beats, field recordings, and synths. The album's name combines "Pindorama," which means "land of the palm trees" in Tupi and was the name for Brazil before colonization, with "X700," referencing a popular keyboard model. This fusion evokes a cybertropical utopia, blending tradition with futuristic elements, celebrating the vibrancy of South American electronic music, and offering a critical view of colonial legacies.

Sometimes our surroundings seem infinitely grey and the abyss seems to have no end. Light shimmers are very dim; our senses get overwhelmed by lack of hope,nothing but irreverent intrusion in both our public and private life.

Our instinct might tell us to shut down and succumb to the vastness of despair, but we must remain. We must open our eyes and have the courage to face what seems imminent. Face it with hope, gazing that after the void comes warmth, light, union, and empathy.
An eternal longing of what is to come.

In moments like these, we want to help you navigate these feelings alongside qanossonap, greek artist, based in Athens and his take on POSTCLUB.

Swindling composition caracterizes this set, taking us to almost dystopian architectures of future city we never got to appreciate. Accompanied by spoken words and poetry that permeates in this set as in his general work as a producer. Qanossonap makes us wonder if his music should belong in a club, in an art gallery or a futuristic temple with adepts praying to long dead deities. There’s something deeply mystic and spiritual about his sound that lingers in your memory for centuries to come.
