This double compilation materializes the ever existing oppositions in any form of things in life (plus or minus, good or bad, light and dark, yes or no, black and white ...) and the difficulty to make choices.

His creator wanted to depict the permanent opposition between left and right brain in his head, turning every decision making into a violent inner fight betwenn both most extreme points of view. The only answer lies right in the middle of this opposition, carracterised only by the equivalent distance betwenn both these extremes.

Parvati Records 2020 season start with JAHBOO’s DJ set.

Jahbo was born in 1981 in a hippie society in the north of Denmark.
As a basic member of Parvati Records he started to appear on this label acts like a pioneer in the psytrance scene since its beginning as well as the confidential person for Giuseppe, and relentless helped building up this special base for the extraordinariness in the music scene.
Working in a music shop in a long period of his real life he is always refining his production skills meticulously to define his extraordinary and most definitely recognizable style at his recent state of the art and his tracks basically have this special charme of a tripped out mushroom atmosphere.

Morphing soundscapes, wobbling basslines and an immense potion of the right humor spangled with a lot of twisted effects and surrealistic leads are a defined earmark of Jahbo tracks and so he was playing all around the globe on almost all important festivals with his exceptional live gigs and absorbing sets.

Jahbo appeared on many releases, mainly on his homelabel in Denmark as well as on leading psytrance labels with the ideology of twisted trippy psytrance, with his solo project Jahbo as well as with the different projects he is part of.

Jahbo DJ sets are dedicated to the trippers on the dancefloor, and he is able to move it night or daytime with his crispy and of course typical Aarhus styled attitude to send the crowd on his wings of psytrance.

Hope you enjoy my brief but bouncy set for Get Real in 2019.  I was called in last minute to fill in for Chemical Surf (Brazil) who couldn't make it. Was happy to oblige and the rest is history.

A nuestra especie actual se le denomina homo sapiens-sapiens porque somos justo un salto evolutivo más allá, los seres humanos somos lo que somos derivado de una serie de revoluciones, entendiendo como revolución una evolución que se sale de su ritmo normal, tú vas en una evolución y de pronto hay un gran salto, y para entender cuándo nos convertimos en esto que somos ahora, lo primero que hay que entender es, qué es esto que somos ahora, es decir, qué es lo que define al humano, qué es lo que nos hace humanos, somos capaces de crear cosas, somos capaces de imaginar cosas, somos capaces con nuestra mente de que algo que no existe de pronto exista, somos creadores, es decir, la capacidad de hacer un lenguaje complejo que le permita ponerse de acuerdo y comunicarse, la capacidad de transmitir conocimientos. Lo que ocurre hace unos 150 000 años, lo ubican los antropólogos entre 150 000 y 70 000 años en el pasado, lo que algunos llaman la revolución cognitiva, que es lo que nos hace humanos, la revolución cognitiva es cuando gracias al lenguaje podemos hacer este brinco evolutivo y ponernos de acuerdo por algo desarrollado por nuestro pensamiento, no por nuestra biología, nosotros nos ponemos de acuerdo porque queremos, no por una cuestión instintiva, ahí está la voluntad, la voluntad que no tienen los demás animales, la voluntad es lo que nos hace humanos, pero la voluntad implica conciencia de ti mismo, basta con saber que lo que nos hace humanos es esta revolución cognitiva o del conocimiento que hubo hace unos 100 000 años que nos dio el lenguaje y que nos dio la capacidad de hacer símbolos, los seres humanos somos lo que somos derivado de una serie de revoluciones, también hay que entender que la evolución no se detiene nunca, es decir, la evolución sigue…

La humanidad vive eternamente en una serie de revoluciones que marcan todo nuestro progreso, nuestra evolución y nuestra involución, por un lado, y por otro lado no solamente vivimos en una constante revolución sino que todo cambia todo el día a un ritmo que nadie es capaz de comprender pero además lo único a lo que aspiras en ese nivel de estrés es un montón de personas que no hacen nada más que competir eternamente, gastarse eternamente en eso, producir de manera irracional para luego consumir lo que producen y estar convencido de que ese es el mejor mundo posible. Deja de tratar de cambiar a los demás, al entorno, a la situación, transfórmate tú, y la principal transformación en ti es la revolución a la que le hemos huido los últimos 12 000 años de civilización, la interna.
Libérate de este sistema de esclavitud en el que te tienen, libérate de la obsesión por ganar, por tener la razón y dedícate a lo único que importa como ser humano, la revolución interna, ser feliz en esta vida.

BAO is the psytrance project of Nicola Filippini.
Coming from Brescia in Italy, he entered the scene 15 years ago. He started with DJ'ing and creating parties, and has since made some small festivals as well. After some years of DJing and organizing, he created his own psytrance project called BAO and started to perform around the world. After a while he joined Blacklite Records and grew as an artist and forged his unique sound. His music is immediately recognisable with deep bass lines and groovy rythmics, which can drive you into a powerful psychedelic journey!

In 2020, he found a new creative direction in psytechno, a genre that blends deep, dark and groovy beats with driving energy. Since then, he's been a key figure in promoting the sound across Italy and Europe.

Beyond DJing, BAO is known for organizing events and festivals that bring together diverse music communities. As the newly appointed Italian label ambassador and resident DJ for AlpaKa MuziK, he continues to champion innovative electronic music while shaping the psytechno scene with his passion and forward-thinking approach.

Music is my passion, it's my creative space where I can express myself. It's an integral part of my life.
When I make music I feel free from time and space, and just in flow with my creative energy.

It's always interesting to see where a new track will lead me.

The feeling I get when I create psytrance is a feeling of power, celebration, connection, and that is what I love to share with my audience.

Being on stage is purely magical, because I can really feel the connection with the crowd, and their reaction to my powerful beats.

Bringing people into the present moment with my music is the biggest satisfaction. To see them dance, enjoy and express my music through their movements is truly rewarding.  

Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed, and I do my part in reminding people of that.
