Die Werke des französischen Dichters Charles Baudelaire (1821-1867) inspirieren bis heute Künstler auf der ganzen Welt. Sein Essay Die künstlichen Paradiese von 1860 ist ein leidenschaftliches Plädoyer für den Rausch, die Fähigkeit und Bereitschaft zum Ausnahmezustand des Geistes und der Sinne.
150 Jahre später hat Hörspielregisseur Kai Grehn diesen Text bearbeitet und für den Schauspieler Alexander Fehling neu eingerichtet. Jeanne Moreau hat Berauschet Euch im französischen Original eingesprochen und international bekannte Musiker interpretieren das Gedicht musikalisch. Entstanden ist ein einzigartiges Hör- und Klangerlebnis, ein Berauschen an seiner Poesie!

Finally, a new, true Doering, whose other name Dirty is something of a fake-out: “I Would” captivates the listener with clean, maximum minimal beauty, in typical Doering style. The melodies swing gentle as a cradle, the beats take effect in a supporting role and the vocals, though sparsely deployed, complete the demand for inner harmony. The elements combine to create a languorous, warm feeling around the heart – a flawless hit.And what’s
Marcus Meinhardt up to? He lays a hint of boom behind the track, plays with the curiosity created by delay, and garnishes the whole thing with a few more sound delights.
Acid Pauli, well, he does what Acid Pauli must do: lengthening the track to almost ten minutes, he builds a myriad of levels for psychoactive play, slowly pushing the track to its apex and slowly bringing it back, so that it can almost go without the guiding vocals.
With the digital Bonus Remix by Matthew Styles, the tempo gets yet another push. He loses the vocals altogether, mixes in a pinch of ambient and deftly puts the focus on the hypnotic undertow of the track, holding it for a full 19 minutes.

A modern nomad who has travelled the continents with his music, Nu is as diverse in his musical styles as he is well-travelled.

Taking influences from his various homes, such as Switzerland, Germany, or Peru, the producer and trained sound engineer branched out into various genres (deep house, hip hop, trip-hop, ambient, experimental, dance, and even film and dance theatre music composition). Through this years-long musical journey, Nu then found his true calling: instrumentals amalgamated with his electronic production, all held together through solid rhythms.

Nuʼs music has a strong emphasis on live performance. He fuses clean-cut minimal techno with the raw sounds of his analogue synthesis and his self-made instruments. He works with anything from self-recorded samples over drum and synthesizer machines to multi-touch screen controllers.

Niconè and Sascha Braemer done it again.
After the „Nur mal kurz EP“ on BAR25, these two guys follow up with their next self-deprecating Hit on the BAR25 label.
It’s all about the really  hard mission to leave a party.
„Thänk You“ turns with dry beats, smoky vocals and playful sounds into a great dancefloor-madness.
With this, they are  on a trip to manifest the typical bar25 sound.
Insane, groovy with a lot of small sound pieces.
Remixes  are delivered from Phillip Bader, End of Tape (Gunjah & Dj Stachy) and Nico Schwind.
Phillip makes a great technoid version from the material, he cut’s the vocals and use it as a clock-generator without loosing the grazyness of the original.
Also Nico Schwind’s rmx  is a really amazing tech-house version and he set’s the course straight to the dancefloor, he is using the refrain  and add’s some old-school synthie’s to the original.
The End of Tape rmx come’s along with a bit more rughness, they are taking the concisely part’s and put it together with shakers and xylophone into a really cool new version.
The  trippy and dancing Barcapella Version is another variant of „Thänk You“ it is perfect for the moment of a party when it’s almost impossible to say „Thänk You“ or „Good Bye“.
Last but not least, the radio-version is the perfect last record of an never ending set.

We welcome Ryan Davis, an artist who should have released with us a long time ago, since his music is very close to what Traum has released over the period of 12 years.
Ryan is great musician and totally dedicated to the melodic side of dance music, with compositional skill and courage that is rare in dance music today. Ryan has recorded for various labels but keeps a low profile for himself which makes him a true candidate for Traum also in the future.
The opening track “Roads” is a track of sheer extravagance. It combines different musical genres in in a very skillful way and makes an unmistakable statement towards an artistic composition.
You will find so many influences going on here that it is hard to pin down weather it is a romantic or cinematic track or even a strong club epic. It works on all levels and that is a quality Ryan Davis has cultivated over a long period.
Lush and deep  passages alternate with energetic ones, using hi tech technology to make it a firework or rather a serpentine of delicate stunts altogether. “Loophole” is wise enough to dedicate itself to a more track like piece of music.
But please do not make judgements too quick... in the course of it’s development it attracts colourful, melodic elements and takes them in to a never-ending beat.
Step by step Ryan Davis adds long-armed synth stretches and the lushness of “fragile” electronic music. “Sideways”, the third track is by far the most “free minded spirit” on the release.
Again equally beautifully crafted and refurbished to feel fresh and new as all of these tracks... Davis here suggest rather than dedicates images that seem to drown in a ”see of sound”.
This includes “slow motion” or “stand still” passages and a general “fantastic” approach rather than a „club head turner“. Roland M. Dills remix is bassline monster of a muscular beat track that puts him next to artists such as Radioslave & Dettmann. New Traum artist from the UK Morris Cowan has taken on “Sideways” and instantly felt he could do a interpretation it in his style. The result is a tight new interpretation based on an arrangement which takes in the coolness of dub step but also pays tribute to the seriousness of the original.
We think Morris Cowan has done great and have signed him for a full length album on Traum´s new imprint Zaubernuss!
