Portugal based super selector Andrey Pushkarev has surely been on everybody’s radar for some time now. His sublime choices from his timeless record collection knows no bounds and his sets are so revered that he is able to straddle a great many genres with ease. Labelled by @resident-advisor as "one of the classiest and grooviest house DJs out there," @danaruh is a musician who lives and breathes music like few others. Thoroughly obsessed by the complexities of sound, she's as renowned for his wizardry behind the decks as she is her label, @brouqade -as well as her role at fledgling Berlin music space, 60waves store. A native of Gera, Ruh has been firmly settled in Berlin for over a decade now, with Germany's capital continuing to play a profound effect on her unique way of working. An impressively multifaceted musician, Ruh's early sound was often characterised by its subtle, minimal tropes, although these days she's equally as likely to champion classy, up-tempo house as she is a tougher, more peak-time techno vibe. It's a way of working that means she's equally comfortable throwing it down in Romania as she Ibiza or at her summer residency at Berlin's Club der visionaere. A master of the subtle groove, Ruh's work continues to draw praise from electronic music's most respected names, with her highly-regarded debut LP, Naturally, released via @jus-ed @undergroundquality. Added to this, further celebrated releases have arrived recently via equally discerning outposts such as @barbara-preisinger, Cave Records and @autoreply. Closer to home, Ruh continues to rep her Brougade imprint with distinction. Conceived in 2007, the label is now firmly established one that's equally likely to push forward-thinking up-and-coming artists and established names alike. As one of the founder of @kma60 he established 60waves, an independent record store in berlin, releasing her latest album 2020 on Cave Recordings Dana is never sitting still. after her Release on @smallville-records in 2023 and back on Brougade and with a live set to perform She will not stop to create.

Upon re-recording I once more realised how rare it has become to be able to play such a set and how grateful and humble such great music leaves you.

A pillar of the Danish underground, Markovela has crafted an enviable position in a scene that only comes with having countless locked-in dancefloor moments under his belt. Moving the Scandinavian scene on a glacial level, few have had the level of input into the musical landscape than this next level digger. Cherishing his domestic scene as if an extension of his own flesh and blood, Markovela pours love and affection on the dancefloor with each passing transition and the connection that is established could not be more heartfelt. 

Throughout the full run time of this mix the thread of emotion could not be more cohesive. From slick, stripped back grooves courtesy of Audio Werner to uplifting gems that will rarely see the light of day outside his own record bag. Segueing from mood to mood with an ease that is difficult to comprehend at times, but that is not for you to worry about. Leave that Markovela.

It was not mixed by Ricardo Villalobos  but it's his selection of Vinyls that   were recorded on a tape to present it to  Dandy in Berlin the 21 of May . The compilation was  mixed after digitalising the tape  by Dandy Jack using only this records.  It's 24 Years ago ! Enjoy

Barbara Preisinger has been an integral part of the Berlin club scene since moving from Munich in the late 90s.
 
Barbara Preisinger first began dj-ing in 1996 in her hometown of Munich and was playing regularly at the the green flokati room of the "ultraschall" club. in the Summer of 1998 Barbara left Munich for Berlin, where she started working as a freelance press and radio promoter for electronic music. In the years that followed she represented various labels and acts from the experimental music scene, ranging from straight clubsounds to electronic pop and indie-electronia. 

1999 saw her co-found the label ˜scape, together with Stefan Betke aka Pole, creating an open platform for the productions of Kit Clayton, Jan Jelinek, Deadbeat, Pole amongst many others. Before long she was a resident dj at regular scape nights in berlin and other locations within europe, japan and also further afield in north america. Over the years her musical preferences as dj have changed and developed continuously to House and Techno. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno, all the while remaining open towards interesting and outstanding tunes that makes you move. 
Autumn 2009 Barbara Preisinger founded the 12inch vinyl label SLICES OF LIFE which is focused on organic sounding and diverse club music, with releases by Betke, Mike Huckaby, Baaz, John Tejada, The Mole, Dana Ruh, Losoul...
The label´s founding year also marked the beginning of the event series DEEP IN THE BOX with regular parties at Berlin´s Club der Visionäre, Wilde Renate, Ipse among other places. In September 2015 Barbara Preisinger moved DEEP IN THE BOX to the Globus floor at Berlin´s legendary TRESOR club, where she has been hosting her parties since then.
