Based in Cologne

Independent reggae and dub artist, producer, and session guitarist blending roots vibes with deep dub grooves. Influenced by Bob Marley, Damian Marley, and Protoje, he creates soulful, conscious music built from live instrumentation and self-produced rhythms.

“In 2007 ,FORMBAR” alias Manuel Hammer began his music career in the Rhein-Main-corridor where he was born and raised; the same area where the term " TECHNO " was born.

It was in his grandparent´s attic where he staged his first small raves.

Once competent in all aspects of sound design, he was asked to perform in well established clubs throughout the Rhein-Main area such as HotelDigital(super8,kbar)and U60311 FFM.

“His Sound is influenced by the Stammheim Dj´s (PIERRE,BINE,MARKY;NORMAN) and can be described as driving, straightforward but also playful , a combination which puts a story-telling effect on his sets.”

Klangphonics are a trio that produce and perform live electronic music. By using a combination of electronic elements and acoustic instruments, they bridge the gap between producer and live band. 

​This results in a very natural, organic sound, whilst still retaining the energy associated with deep house and melodic techno.

The Hypnotic Riders

Fünf rockende Kölner, eine Band! Das psychedelische Fundament wird lustvoll mit Offbeat und Pop verdichtet. Satter Bass und drängendes Schlagzeug lassen die Wände wackeln und bringen sogar die Hocker zum Tanzen. Die Gitarristen verzahnen ihre Sounds zu schillernder Energie, welche die Fensterscheiben in gefährliche Vibrationen versetzt, aber auch den dunkelsten Winkel erleuchtet. Die explosive Stimme des Sängers reisst gerne mal ein Loch in den Teppich, um es später mit feiner Melodie wieder zusammenzuflicken. 
Unterm Dach wird augenzwinkernd mit dem Rock'n'Roll-Klischee gespielt. Die reflektierten Texte handeln von Konsumkritik, Liebe, Wut, Trost und Selbstbestimmung. Unterdessen schwelgt die Musik im Groove und überrascht mit schelmischen Richtungswechseln.
