Now he leaves his mark on our souls at Pets with four beautifully constructed pieces of soulful techno and electronica. 
‘Brother’ sets the scene... An airy narrative coded with deep synthetic hope, it’s a graceful way to open this immaculate, soul-arresting and detailed label debut. 
‘The Bells’ follows with a charming mysticism that’s conjured through both the calming chimes and the hopeful chord structure that hums unhurriedly. A cadence created through the juxtaposition of grainy and sparkling elements, there’s a warmth and familiarity that’s not dissimilar to Iz & Diz’s cult classic ‘Mouth’.
‘Oasis’  A measured sojourn into dusky pastures where a sparkling chime and stately kicks provide the guiding star and the melodic elements wrap around it with yearning subtle psychedelia. 
Darius bigs us adieu with ‘Save Me’, easing us into its slipstream with breezy pads and atmospheres that at first appear innocuous but gradually take on a life of their own as more human textures are added. Building into a breathless state of weightlessness, instant gravity is triggered as the groove re-ignites midway.

Sometimes when you have worked long on a track you get tired of hearing the same old elements as they have been looping in your ears for days.  So there is often the incentive to throw the old stuff away and do something different.  Here is one result of throwing the old stuff away and creating something new (But then we switched back hehe..).

The letter was long winded and passionate. She had hoped that it might not get the better of her but at this moment in time she continued to weep a solemn sense of sadness at the poignancy of the loss. Walking out from the chapel she left behind a delicate tail of intricately woven misery and torturous anguish. It had never been supposed to end up like this for her, for her family, her friends and her lover. Now as the story came to a bitter yet fickle end she dreamt no more. 

Yila is remixed by an array of exceptionally talented musicians on a new EP for Supremus Records. Dave DK works his usual wizardry blending soft whispering vocals alongside his ominous electronics.

Following the release of their latest album ‘Rising and Falling’, the duo return with a brilliant remix package centered around one of the standout tracks from the album. Titled ‘Can’t Hurt You’ the track features the sublime vocal talents of Kim Ann Foxman.

Fans of the album will be well versed with the delicate floating synths and memorable vocals of the supremely-talented Miss Foxman from the original album version. But this release is all about the three remixes from Guti, Russ Yallop, and Just Be!

Desolat’s Argentinean supremo Guti offers his own refreshing take on the original, injecting some serious South American funk and flavour to proceedings. From the outset Guti stamps his unmistakable groove on the original taking the tempo up a level and adding new keys and vocal samples, culminating in a fantastic dance-floor orientated remix.

Next up is one of Crosstown Rebels leading lights Russ Yallop who lends his hand to create a trippy yet sensuous version of the original. His remix is characterised by striking deep bass and a jacking kick which take centre stage. The remix builds and builds into a swirling distorted crescendo until it drops back into its absorbing big-room beat.

Completing this package is a special dub by Just Be, one of Matt Bushwacka!’s aliases. It takes the listener on a much more hypnotic journey. While the subtle synths and haunting vocals of the original remain, these are complemented by adding new percussive elements to the track, taking it to new sonic depths.

Overall then fans can expect yet another strong remix package from Layo & Bushwacka! which features three extremely high-quality versions of the fantastic original.

First released on their No Stoppin EP in 2003, M.A.N.D.Y.'s 'Tonite' now gets a fresh remaster for 2020 with huge new remixes from Rebolledo, Pete Tong, Maga, President Bongo, m.O.N.R.O.E. and dubspeeka.

Opening up the package in fantastic fashion is Rebolledo, the long time Kompakt artist and original Pachanga Boy. His Collector's Edition mix is a smooth and seductive one with lush synths and nimble grooves all working you into a trance. Radio 1's vital veteran and enduring global tastemaker Pete Tong then steps up with a rare remix that shows why he is such a widely respected icon. He goes for a more prickly version which is lit up with big chords and has plenty of kinetic drum energy and epic breakdowns. Next up, French producer Maga's musical project has turned into a real journey through melodic, organic and minimalistic patterns that cast a fine spell. His version is built on a bass guitar riff that loops beneath cleverly treated vocals and becomes magically psychedelic.

Iceland's President Bongo was a founder of the cult GusGus band who now works solo on the Radio Bongo label and has his own distinctive sound. Evidence of that comes here with a superbly spooky version that has vocal chants shimmering about the mix and races late into the night on an indie licked rhythm. Then it is to Miami's m.O.N.R.O.E., who has been a regular guest on this label over the years and mixed America Gets Physical back in 2018. His version is the deepest of the lot, with subtle claps, atmospheric samples, bird calls and humid grooves that lock you in. Bristol techno producer dubspeeka always brings the UK sound and sense of grimy soul to his music, and he does so again here with a hard hitting, dubbed out yet dreamy rework full of class. Last of all is a fresh remaster of the original version which sounds as crisp and brain soothingly clean as it did when first released.

This top tune is set to be a smash for a second time round thanks to these vital remixes.
