Having previously been on remix duty with Renaissance, Lehar steps into the limelight with his first full release on the label, 'Maybe Yes EP'. A heady concoction of retro synths, pulsating basslines and infectious drums, it makes for the perfect bookend to see out the year with a bang! Considering the EP as a whole, you can hear why Lehar is one of the best musical storytellers around as 'Maybe Yes' delivers a boundless journey. Two of the main stays of the Tel Aviv underground scene Chicola & Sahar Z, collaborate and deliver a tasty release on the fine imprint Rusted (belonging to fellow Israeli Roy Rosenfeld).
Chicola has been DJ-ing for many years and he's released on Lost & Found, microCastle and Sudbeat amongst others, while talented Dj and producer Sahar Z has had his music grace Bedrock, Lost & Found and Sudbeat. So a collaboration on Rusted is the perfect home for these guys.
Hallucinate is a brooding deep yet minimalistic techno groove, laced with trippy melodies and fx, sprinkled with funky percussion, while along along gently twisting your mind. A bit of a monster really..!
Taking us tougher, we finding Morning Glory. This techno gem unfurls its power from the off, with its fierce bassline paving the way. Its pretty relentless in its approach as it just keeps going along, knocking everything out of its way, signposted by mad synth stabs, cool fx and general nuttiness. Solid!

Chicola & Sahar Z - Morning Glory

Darin Epsilon welcomes Trilucid for the 52nd release on Perspectives Digital, which was recently nominated for Breakthrough Label of 2017 in DJ Mag’s Best of North America Awards.  The London based duo of Andy MacDougall and Hilton Caswell teamed up in 2013 after a series of successful solo projects and are currently residents of the Gallery Club at Ministry of Sound.  Together they’ve showcased their pristine style on top labels such as Toolroom, Anjunabeats, Perfecto, Coldharbour, Flashover, and Black Hole Recordings.

For their first EP on Perspectives, Trilucid combine the groove of Progressive House with emotionally charged melodies to craft the perfect summer release.  The warm bassline in ‘Endless Moment’ is layered with hypnotic vocals and delicate, breezy melodies, while ’Twist’ earns its name with playful keys on top of galloping bass and reverberating stabs.  With a top notch debut and solid relationship with the industry’s leading imprints, the two are no doubt quickly headed down the road towards superstardom.

Berlin based DJ/producer and classically trained pianist Martin Roth has been receiving critical acclaim and praise since being named ‘Beatport Star of 2009’ alongside Eric Prydz and Deadmau5, as well as three nominations at the annual Beatport Awards.  He has smashed the Beatport charts numerous times with releases on Anjunadeep, Sudbeat, Global Underground, Black Hole, and Parquet Recordings.  Martin’s masterful remix of ‘Endless Moment’ brings a darker and more intense edge to round out the package, and solidifies his reputation as being amongst the industry’s elite producers.

 “Implicit Bias” by Soul Button and Clawz SG opens the series with this masterful track. Deep bass lines meld with an infectious beat, while delicate melodies encourage wandering thoughts. Gradually heating up, it invites on a journey through an abundance of progressive beats and synths, infused with melodic flares.
