Composer, sound designer, multimedia artist, and producer from Richmond, Virginia. Majored in Music Composition and Technology at the University of Mary Washington.

Juan Carlos Vasquez is an award-winning composer, sound artist and video game researcher. His work has been supported by the Nokia Research Center, the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, the Arts Promotion Centre in Finland and the CW+ in partnership with the Royal College of Music in London, UK. His electroacoustic music works are performed constantly around the world and have been premiered in over 30 countries of America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Vasquez received his education at the University of Virginia, the Sibelius Academy and Aalto University in Finland, and has taken courses with Andy Farnell, Miller Puckette, Marco Stroppa, Steven Stucky and Jonty Harrison, among others.
