Welcome 2021! For this occasion we decided to bring on a very special guest to help with a successful beginning of something new and beautiful. He’s a newcomer on Bardo Records, but a seasoned DJ-producer - Christian Kroupa!

So for the first time in the label’s history, we proudly present a New Year’s Special, where Christian is bringing you two techno delights to properly kick off into the New Year!

With Vague Memory of You, he takes us back to a simpler time, using a softly melodic sound full of dream like phases of calm electronics, which let us lose ourselves in the moment. With Ensis he takes a more direct approach; its playful bass and percussion gets you moving on the spot, but it still leaves one with plenty of melodic rhythms.

Bardo Records was established in 2017 and is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

The label has a heavy focus on electronic music that covers all genres of House and Techno and it's working on establishing it's own and unique sound through picking out artists and producers of various musical backgrounds. 

One of the label’s main agenda is to also release on vinyl, tapping into the still lively market of vinyl DJs and music culture.
