I have always wanted to write a Drumline cadence. I used the Drumline sound library from Spitfire Audio. They sampled the drumline from the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, which is my all-time favorite corps. I bought the library a few years ago, and it has taken until now for me to build up the courage to write with it. So, y'all go easy on me.

This little piece was hard-coded in Supercollider, both the synthesis and the sequencing.  I'm gearing up to do a larger project in Supercollider; so this is a practice study.

I made most of these sounds from samples from a flute and saxophone duet I wrote years ago.  After playing with the samples a bit, I started getting a Latin vibe; so, I added a Paul-Simon-Late-in-the-Evening type horn break.  Oh, and my sister has the best laugh ever; so, I had to sample that as well.
