Antiserum and myself are taking it back to square one and dropping a free MP3 for all of our awesome fans! We've had an amazing summer so far touring with Caspa, Kill Paris, Helicopter Showdown, Butch Clancy, Clicks & Whistles, and Getter so we wanted to drop a new tune that's been turning up the crowds in every set. Once again we draw inspiration from the east, this time in the form of Pakistan. A dark and brooding intro segues into a 2 Chainz vocal and our take on turnt up internet music. "Currently putting the final touches on their 2nd EP, Sydney duo What So Not are teasing us with new sounds by uploaded a previously un-realised remix of Kimbra, A-Trak & Mark Foster’s collaborative track, ‘Warrior’.

Made up of Flume and Emoh Instead, What So Not are getting a lot of global hype via their remixes of Van She, Major Lazer and Parachute Youth.

Their ‘Warrior’ remix sits at around 110 bpms, blurring between trap, dubstep and moobahton sounds. The song heaves with bass, while still highlighting the infectious Kimbra and Foster topline patterns. Oh and the drop? Dope.  

Touring the country earlier this year as part of the National House Party tour alongside Deacon Rose, Beni, Flume (live) and myself, I can personally back their hype.

Wunderkind Eptic has it all planned out – the upstart Belgian DJ returns on 6 May 6 with the release of his latest EP 'Mastermind'. The new EP will be released on powerhouse dubstep label Never Say Die Records and it features four filthy new tracks.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2011 Eptic (Michael Bella) has released three well-received EPs and has honed his skills through non-stop touring and by collaborating with and remixing established artists such as Habstrakt, SKisM, Excision and Datsik. He continues to play gigs around the world and will be touring Australia later this month.

'Mastermind' picks up where 'Like A Boss' left off (the 'Like A Boss' EP spent almost two months in the Top 10 of Beatport’s dubstep chart in 2012). The energetic first track 'Bust ‘em Out' (accompanied by an equally vibrant video) features a collaboration with Virus Syndicate. Dubstep stomper 'Mastermind' is classic Eptic and on the drum & bass 'Space Business' he branches out and shows his diversity. Lastly MRK1 turns up the heat on 'Bust ‘em Out' with his trap remix. The EP will be released worldwide on 6 May.

So… 

Here it is. The album that we've been talking about for over a year. Scheduling conflicts be damned, we made it happen! Yes, the process was long, and at times it was even a little grueling, but we stuck to our guns and we couldn't be happier with the results. 

Originally, we created about 16 tracks for the album, and then we narrowed it down to the songs that you have in front of you today. It was important to us that we create a collection of music that crossed multiple styles and genres, yet told a coherent story. It's not an easy thing to do, but we feel like we pulled it off by using themes, samples, techniques and by consciously assessing what did and did not work together.

We feel like there is something for everyone on this record and we're very pleased with the fact that we can offer this to everyone for free. All we ask is that you listen to it with an open mind, share it with your friends and come say hello whenever we play a show in your city. 

So, once again - Thank you to each and every person that showed us support over the last few years. We love working together, and have already discussed plans for a follow up album. 

For now, enjoy ANIMAL!
