My first single played on KLBJ 93,7 FM. Produced, tracked, mixed and mastered by me at my home studio in Austin, TX.

This is probably the only song on the album that will have acoustics. I just don't play them. I listened to Hendrix from 8-15 EXCLUSIVELY (literally, nothing but Hendrix) and then discovered Pantera- most importantly DIME, and he changed my attititude towards guitar but most importantly life, how to treat fans, how to live life, how to rock, how to be a genuinely good man- and last and VERY FIRST, NOT LEAST- was a TRUE TEXAN! 

Since I'm 6th Generation Texan, (we're pretty sure- maybe more... came from Georgia where Jasper Reuben's father, I believe, was let off a Prison Ship that came from Ireland and we believe lived on the trail between here and New Mexico as one one in those days) Pantera is second only to one band- Zep, and the more I listen to Pantera, the more they inch closer to being tied.

"Mirrors" by Barney Cockburn

This is the heaviest, most rock-esque track that's gonna be on the album. Hell, the producer may not even let that happen since it's basically a metal song I wrote for an old band then, after our singer dropped it from our set & we broke up, it got shelved.

Found it, re-recorded it, changed it up a bit, wrote my own lyrics (ergo, now I wrote the whole song) and I'm REALLY happy with the results. Can't WAIT to see what the producer thinks! Hell- he may say "fu** it- let's make it a metal track on this album!" 

I'll be the happiest camper alive!
