I started Dr. Strange Records in 1988 as a place to get rare Punk for a FAIR price. A year later [1989] I released my 7” from a local band called Manson Youth. 25 years later we’re still doing the same; Selling Punk Rock for fair prices and releases awesome music!

Est. in 1988. Started as a mail order for rare punk vinyl. We soon became a record label and eventually a 2300 sq ft record store. 

Let me start off by saying what we are NOT. We are not a "company" or "corporation" making money off punk rock. I've been into punk since 1980 and it is truly a way of life for me. It is who I am and what I will be until I die. I started Dr. Strange Records in 1988 in an effort for like minded people to get rare punk records for FAIR prices. My "hobby" has not only turned into the biggest mail-order for punk in all the world, but also a record label (in 1989) and a store in California (opened in 1997).

We're small...there's myself, my wife Crystal and my friends: Der-Der, Chachi, Lips, Pippy, Trevolta, Dusty Dirt, and Jinx the Cat doing the best we can to get you the best "stuff" for the best prices. Epitaph Records is an independent music label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights spawned what became known as the 90s punk explosion. 

Along the way Epitaph proudly launched its sister label ANTI-, representing unique and distinguished acts. From the beginning Epitaph’s mission has been to serve the musicians on its diverse and creative roster - an artist-first model, radical twenty years ago, and much imitated today.
