Their talent has been recognized by top DJs like Sasha, Nick Warren, and Hernan Cattaneo. Sasha championed their track "Absentis," and Cattaneo often features their productions, including "Sleeping Blue," "Bamboo," "8 Steps," and "United." Nick Warren signed several of their tracks to his Soundgarden music label.

With over two decades in the electronic music scene, Baron Simms has made his mark as a versatile producer and DJ. His career took off in the early 2000s when Mixmag spotlighted him as a promising new talent, featuring his track Swerve on their iconic Stick This Up Your Napster compilation.

From there, Baron sharpened his production skills, carving out a niche in the soulful, liquid side of Drum & Bass. His music quickly gained traction and was supported by influential DJs across Bassdrive, Kool FM, BBC Electro East, and Kunnin Mindz, solidifying his reputation in the DnB community.

Teaming up with his close friend Andy “Dubz” Hill, Baron launched the production duo Simztek & Dubz, expanding into House and Tech House with a series of successful releases. Together, they rocked dance floors nationwide and released tracks on renowned labels like Krafted, Onefold Digital, Sweep The Floor Records, Endemic Digital, New Politics Records, Drum Records, EME, 13 Records, and YooNek Records.

In 2024, Baron Simms is back in the studio, fusing his signature sound with Afro House, Melodic House, and Tech influences. Expect a fresh wave of original tracks and remixes as he continues to push boundaries, blending genres and elevating his unique sonic palette.
