Michael Ruiz, Rachmaninoff Prelude in G Minor (Op. 23, No. 5) performed and recorded for the internationally-distributed public radio program of Fred Flaxman. Compact Discoveries Program 155: “The Romantic Piano” available online at the Public Radio Exchange (PRX). Original presentation of the program was part of the Asheville Area Piano Forum 2008-2009 Season Calendar, Saturday, March 21, 2009. Fred Flaxman: "Piano Discoveries." Award-winning writer and public broadcasting producer shared his favorite "discoveries" of little-known but beautiful piano pieces and some better-known pieces about which he told amusing stories.
