Lauded by the New York Amsterdam News for his “amazing, robust” voice and “potential for operatic stardom,” emerging American baritone Barry L Robinson has earned praise for a multivariate array of roles ranging from Cavalli to Janáček. 

Especially sought after for his interpretations of Mozart’s complex characters, he was showcased as Don Alfonso (Cosí fan tutte) and Leporello (Don Giovanni) in excerpts for Opera Noire’s televised gala with Mo. Willie A. Waters in 2007.  He has additionally received acclaim for his portrayal of Il Conte d’Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) also with Opera Noire.

Future engagements in 2012-13 include; featured soloist in concerts at Teatro Sodre and Mozarteum Argentino, Deutsche Oper Berlin debut as Un Ridicule (L’amour des trois oranges).
