This the result of 2 sessions at a writerscamp; The Voyagers worked with Haris to get the nice break with amazing vocals. And I worked with The Voyagers on the catchy groovy drop. Really happy with this track, the drop melody might be the one of the most catchy melody's I ever wrote and I love the fresh input by The Voyagers. As with this track, his mix on ‘Toolroom Live 01’ is created by and for the lover of real House music, referencing the past and looking to the future. Featuring tracks by the likes of MK, Hot Since 82, Harry Romero, Bontan, Tube & Berger and Doorly, alongside a brand new exclusive from Weiss himself, ‘I Believe’, this is a mix that’s all about craftsmanship; it’s about the emotions that the tracks evoke; it’s about a great passion for House music. 

At the other end of the spectrum, Adrian Hour is no stranger to this ethos. Well regarded by the likes of Carl Cox and the Suara team for his jaw dropping productions, he infuses his tracks and Toolroom Live mix with an indescribable quality. Adrian Hour deftly weaves his way through the many shades of techno, incorporating new tracks from Pirupa, Erik Hagleton and Coyu & Ramiro Lopez, as well as huge exclusives from himself, D-Unity, Montenegro and more.

Finally, Mark Knight ties the album together with his ability to make memorable main room House music and his talent for creating moments that are reminisced about for months, even years, after the event – and this is the focus of his Toolroom Live mix:

[Serious mode on] We’re still in the early stages of this journey we’re calling TKDJS, and while we’ve written a bunch of unreleased music, there’s still SO much we want to do. It’s not all bangers and looped beats...we’ve always wanted to make music that is lasting...that has feeling...that tells stories, and is written as a song, first and foremost.  This is the first record down that road for us, and we’re really proud of it.  

We teamed up with the incredibly creative, talented and just all around chill-dude AYER and wrote this song with him over two sessions.  Once in the lab and once in our hometown studio in Brooklyn. “Don’t Leave” is a story about meeting someone new...at a party, at a club, wherever your scene might take you, hitting it off and wanting to spend more time with that person. Unfortunately that’s not how it always ends up. If this has ever happened to you, you know what we mean.

Anyway, we think the track turned out pretty damn good. Give it a listen and hear for yourself.

Who are TKDJS - 2 out of 3 are true// 

1) While recording “Don’t Leave” we asked Ayer to sing 2 octaves higher, thinking he’d never be able to, but sure enough he did, and we actually used some of those cuts as accents in the finished track.
2) After every session we do Soulcycle and then Juice Press to sweat it out and decompress. Namaste bro. #kalefam
3) Our dream is to one day move to Bali for 6 months to surf and work on a full album.

The backing of Kerri Chandler isn't easy to come by, so it's no surprised Voyeur are rated so highly. 

We first got a taste of Benson Herbert and Leo Pickings' groove-licked house sound back in 2012 when they released the 'Blame It On The Youth' EP on MadTech, the sub-label of King Kerri's Madhouse Records.  Hailing from the Netherlands, Bart van der Meer - known as Bart B More - has been a constant factor in the international electronic dance music scene for many years. His love for DJing and producing has taken him to every continent on the planet, leaving his audience with something to remember - or not to remember. 

Bart B More's genre-bending style has helped him to become one of the most renowned and respected electronic music producers today. He steers away from a traditional production formula to help create his own signature sound: A fusion of deep techno and heart-pumping electro, with an unusual swing in his drum patterns. His eclectic mix of synths, unparalleled sonic range, hard-hitting drops, and heavy bass lines have helped him to create a distinct and original style. The ability to make each beat, synth, and drop flow seamlessly together in his sets, has made Bart a well seen guest at events all over the globe.

Bart does not discriminate against mainstream and underground music, and prefers to draw inspiration from anywhere and everywhere: "The limitations and borders a genre can imply sometimes kills creativity in the producing process, and that's something artists deal with. I try to stay away from that mind frame, and just create how I feel." His non-commitment to any specific genre and ever-changing tastes make each one of his shows a whole new, fresh experience: "Every set to me is a challenge to entertain a crowd, to bring forward my musical taste but also read the crowds mood. And if that's the same thing, that's when I love what I do the most."

In 2008, Bart found a new challenge in his decision to start his own label, Secure Recordings. Since then, the imprint has been an outlet for Bart to release his own music as well as share his various tastes and musical range. By creating Secure, he's able to showcase not only his own style, but also give new artists a platform to release their music. Bart is a firm believer in supporting new and up and coming artists.  In establishing the label, he's been able to give them a chance to make their mark in the industry. 

In addition to Secure Recordings, Bart has had the opportunity to release many of his tracks with some of the industry's top labels: Spinnin' Records, Boysnoize Records, OWSLA, Relief Records, Sound Pellegrino, Fool's Gold, and Trouble & Bass - allowing him to reach an even larger and more diverse demographic, thrusting him into the spotlight of many devout electronic dance music fans. 

Along with collaborating and working with major labels in the business, Bart has also written and produced for the likes of Rita Ora and Example, as well as remixes for Katy Perry, Cee-Lo Green, Tiesto, Chris Brown, Wiley, Galantis, Martin Solveig, Bingo Players, and Peaches amongst many others.
