Philadelphia-based reggae outfit Kings & Comrades began as an acoustic duo but has since evolved into a prominent 6-piece band, including a horn section. With conscious original music and a modern yet soulful sound, the band aims to take their uplifting message worldwide! The group has two EPs to their name and recently released their first full length album, "Get Away", which debuted at #7 on iTunes reggae charts. They've shared stages with bands like Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, Matisyahu, Tribal Seeds, Stick Figure, The Green, Ballyhoo, Mike Pinto, Three Legged Fox, and more.

Nederlandstalige poëtische zang en spoken melody op betoverende soundscapes en beats. Een samensmelting van theater en electronic music geïnspireerd door acts zoals Sevdaliza, Moderat, Wende, RobotKoch en Active Child.  

Op basis van een eerste single wisten zij een plekje te bemachtigen in de selectie van Nieuwe Electronische waar 2019. Ze speelden in het Burgerweeshuis en bewezen zich als showcasetalent voor de Overijsselse Ambassade tijdens Eurosonic Noorderslag 2020. 

Eén single, een goed concept, veel demomateriaal en een dosis motivatie verder zijn zij nu één van de drie BurgerBeurs 2020 acts van het Burgerweeshuis. Met deze beurs geeft het podium muzikanten een jaar lang een boost aan hun muzikale carrière door middel van een intensief begeleidingstraject om zich zo verder te kunnen ontwikkelen. Acts als Sluwe Vos, Snelle en Tricklebolt gingen hen voor.

Passafire’s single, Keepin' On, serves as a mission statement for the veteran rock-reggae outfit as they continue to forge ahead through their second decade of reimagining the boundaries of the current rock-reggae landscape.
 
Since forming in 2003, Passafire has released a total of seven studio albums and boasts credits like producing with Paul Leary (Sublime, Pepper, U2, Slightly Stoopid), #1 albums on both the Billboard and iTunes Reggae charts, and sharing stages with rock-reggae OGs 311, Pepper, Toots & the Maytals, The Wailers, and John Brown’s Body, who in the band’s early years, inspired them to explore reggae with a gritty edge.
 
“We like to mix tight, clean reggae grooves with distorted guitar riffs” insisted Ted, “We’re ‘90s kids,” added Will, “we love rock, hip-hop and metal equally. It was always natural for us to straddle the line between genres.”

Author, composer, performer and conductor of his own orchestra, Worakls is a modern artist.
Although trained in classical music, he quickly gained recognition through his fusion of classical music and electronic tones thanks to which he meets his first successes as an artist, but also as the founder of the labels Hungry Music and Sonate Records. 

Worakls brings a unique and modern sound signature to his music by mixing in his influences (mainly classical, rock and electro). Powerful orchestrations, stirring melodies and dreamy sounds are distinctive features of Worakls’ music. On stage, he conducts his own orchestra, the “Worakls Orchestra” with which he plays his music in the biggest venues in Europe for a show that’s as beautiful to see as it is to hear.

Fortunate Youth is a collaboration of South Bay reggae stand-outs. Rising from various bands, they've created a phenomenal 6-piece masterpiece bringing more fire to the stage than ever before. Combining rootsy vibes and unique bass lines united with multiple harmonies, boisterous guitar solos, and heavy keys separates Fortunate Youth from every other mainstream reggae band. With their high energy approach and positive stage presence they provide an unforgettable show to every music fan.
