On August 22nd, 2014, Motor Entertainment will release a couple of remixes of Parasite Single‘s track “The Hunt”. Northern German music producers the Micronaut and Mollono.Bass (whose remix will be premiered by trndmusik) contribute one remix each. “We are always up for club music and wanted to make danceable music”, say the band members about the remixes. (...) They got in contact with Mollono.Bass and the Micronaut as part of the 3000 Grad family.

Am 22. August 2014 erscheint ein Remixpaket zur Nummer “The Hunt”, die von der Band Parasite Single produziert wurde. Dabei steuern die norddeutschen Produzenten the Micronaut und Mollono.Bass - dessen Remix bei trndmusik Premiere feiert – jeweils eine eigene Version zum Werk von Christian Seim und Jasmins Quach bei. “Wir hatten immer Lust auf Clubmusik und Interesse, tanzbare Musik zu machen”, so die Band über die Idee für die Remixe. • Since childhood, Zgîrie Disc developed an affinity for music, often listening to magnetic tapes, vinyls and cassettes, with different genres of music (from symphonic music to rock ballads, from stories and theatre to folk music), a passion later on, spiced up with setting the foundation for a hip hop crew in which he activated as an MC and producer. From "electronists" friends, he received the so called, electronic music baptism, firstly in private gatherings, where he fell in love with the sounds of Richie Hawtin, falling in love with the minimalist style and the organic percussion.

• He shared desks, scenes, humor, music and dance along with many consecrate artists, opening the Sunday evening of Maraton (BC ), winning the contest Electric Castle in 2014 presenting his musical creations in Gazette (CJ), Stage (CJ), Shelter (CJ), SubSol Bar (BUC), and so on.

• “The melodic line was composed for my girlfriend in the early morning of a day, somewhere in the national realm, and it’s a romantic improvisation, recounting romanian musical vibrations and transmits heat that surrounds us when we are in love, the composition is influenced and inspired by real events.“

• In ceea ce priveste piesa “Sfarsit” totul a pornit de la Suie Paparude, unii din pionerii industriei electronice din Romania de unde s-a inspirat si a preluat ambientul si atmosfera.
Piesa are ca mesaj sfarsitul unei nopti calduroase de vara si inceputul unei dimineti insorite, la o petrecere prelungita pe o plaja retrasa.

• Mihai Pol is a young Romanian artist/DJ, born in Brasov, a mountain city in the middle of Romania. He started creating music 2 years ago and since then he finished nearly 40 tracks based on warm notes of wonder and relaxation. He shared the stage with Robi and Ion in clubs like Trippin, Louis and Inside, but also at the open space parties organised by his friends from "Proudly made by us".

• As to the track ''Sfarsit" (“The end”) made for the compilation, all started from Suie Paparude, the pioneers of the electronic music in Romania. He was influenced by their sound and took the ambient and atmosphere further to his sound. The track has a special message of a warm summer night towards the sun shining in the morning where an afterhour party is still warming the atmosphere on a retired beach.

John Talabot and Axel Boman teamed up in 2017 for their R&S debut ’The Night Land’ where they got to flex their creative muscles over eight tracks of rich synth jams.  

The two electronic artists have been independently successful in their respective careers, but as Pitchfork expressed in their glowing review “Their collective output doesn’t sound much like either’s work; it doesn’t even necessarily reflect the thin, convex sliver where their interests overlap. Instead, they’ve hit upon something new.”

This new sound also proved to be a hit with the likes of Mojo, Phonica, XLR8R, Self Titled and DJ Mag all including it their annual best of lists.

The artists have now handpicked four artists to create their own vision of the Talaboman sound.  
Superpitcher, Samo DJ, Luke Slater under his L.B. Dub Corp alias and Powder have all seriously delivered the goods.

Seven years down the line and Tamed Musiq is proud to present its first-ever album release: "Upstream Colour“ by Iron Curtis. This long overdue follow-up to "Soft Wide Waist Band“ represents a milestone for the Berlin-based producer and easily ranks as his most accomplished work to date. Similar to an impressionist painter, Iron Curtis portrays a well-known subject (House Music) in a dream-like setting by employing a palette of ethereal sounds, subdued melodies and bass-heavy beats. “Upstream Colour” is a beautiful musical experience that never strays too far from the dancefloor yet requires multiple listens in order to unlock all of its mysteries.

Johannes Paluka has enjoyed a prolific career since he has started using the Iron Curtis moniker back in 2009. His releases on Mirau, Hudd Traxx, Retreat or Uncanny Valley have been highly praised and have certainly contributed to the resurgence of deep house in the last decade. His music as part of prolific duos Achterbahn d'Amour with Jürgen Albert, Moon with Johannes Albert and Smpl with Leaves has also been widely celebrated. But as Johannes was going through a difficult period in his life at the beginning of 2016, the events in turn sparked a flurry of inspiration which resulted in the core of "Upstream Colour“. The producer has then spent the last two years working on different projects while continuously fine-tuning his second album and making it his most personal creation up to now.

"Upstream Colour“ is a stunning journey in twelve parts where ambient pieces effortlessly slide into club-ready tracks, thanks to a very distinct range of sounds. There's an unmistakable dream-like quality to the music as subtle tones, elusive melodies and background noises give the impression of looking at familiar elements through a veil. "Boorang“, "Werc Werc Werc“ or “Holding Back” can definitely light up the dancefloor but they also evoke a certain distance from it and are keen to drift into an otherworldly realm, somewhat reminiscent of the cinema of David Lynch.

But even at it's most peculiar, there's an undeniable warmth that radiates from "Upstream Colour" which is best illustrated in its calmer moments such as "Ease Pt. 1 and 2“, "Bethanien“ or the closer "Mt. Gordon“ where ripples of white noise seem to wash away the 'classic' house sounds of yesterday. And then there are the cathartic pieces such as the title track or the gorgeous “Lucent”: beginning in the now familiar fog-like signature, these tracks brilliantly evolve to let in beams of emotion tingled with melancholy. “Lucent” in particular is prone to illuminate even the darkest dancefloor with its majestic strings and heartwarming synths.

“Upstream Colour” is a mesmerizing album that follows the listener long after it has reached its end, akin to a dream that lingers on well beyond the moment of waking up. It is also a testimony to Iron Curtis' boundless talent as a musician whose abilities extend far beyond the genre of House Music.

As much a confectioner on the decks as he is in the studio, CHKLTE plays with a detailed delicateness that defies his towering stature. With vibrant, seductive blooms and deep, syrupy booms, his subtleties climb into the ear like tendrils. Influenced by his family’s involvement in music in Mexico City, a zealous 15-year-old Jonathan Lopez started sneaking into South Texas to DJ clubs after only a year of studying YouTube tutorials. Six years later, he arrived in Austin and joined forces with local movers and shakers Movement Collective, which opened doors for the rising star to play alongside both veterans and newcomers of the music community. Fast forward 4 years, now CHKLTE is one of the minds behind the Blacktone parties in Austin, Tx; a brand which focuses on the more minimal soundscapes of dance music. The move from Jonathan Lopez to “CHKLTE” spurned a series of monthly releases throughout 2016 and 2017 on labels Mind&Vision, Honne Music,  Tympanic, Unscene Records, Beatamin Recordings, & Denied Music. He has an upcoming release on Vatos Locos set for winter 2018, as well as a release on San Diego’s label VUEW ran by prominent legend, Halo Varga. He became a resident of Austin Tx in 2012 and became a regular guest at much respected local venues Plush, Kingdom, and Ethics. CHKLTE still revisits the trail he set in San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, and Mexico, and he also began to venture to Vancouver, Denver, New Orleans and New York — Fast  playing alongside world–renowned artists such as Raresh, Praslea, Randall M, Sakro, Just_Me, Nils Weimann, Christian AB, Maksim, Rhys Samson, Lamache, Robin Ordell, Oskar Offermann, Mihigh, Archie Hamilton, Priku, Andrey Pushkarev, Faster, Sepp, Vincentiulian, Varhat, Giammarco Orsini, John Dimas, Oshana, Chad Andrew & Hector just to name a few.
