Sonosphere is this month's release from the album GEO. A track full of tension with a lot of sonic manipulation.

Industry is released in all its glory. An ambient dark atmospheric piece and probably my most coherent, unified sound to date. The atmospheric dub techno is definitely a style I will continue to revisit. 

The next album will be a more experimental collection with less emphasis on beats. The album will be called GEO and is themed on biogenesis. Check it out as each track is added.

Industry and Distance

Sides three and four of the double album Industry have now been completed. Full album is released at the beginning of July. You can find the album now on Bandcamp. If anyone reads this and wants a copy let me know and I will send you a free download code.

New project already in the pipeline. I am developing the sound I created on the single Distance. I like releasing completed sides as often the tracks will flow into one another. Distance Ochr Un is due for release in August, but of course my Soundcloud fans get to listen now.

Industry

Working currently on an album that has a working title, Industry. Big reverbs and delays seem to be the theme with an ethereal dream quality. The album is being written with a double vinyl release in mind, so there will be 4 sections of around 15 minutes.

Check out Industry Ochr Un and Dau for the first two sides. I expect there to be a side released once per month with full issue in July.

Atmospherics

The latest album is called Atmospherics. It is inspired by Joachim Spieth's album Terrain. The album is built around atmospheric sounds such as thunder, rain, wind recorded on the west coast of Wales in 2023.

The idea of the album was to take these sounds and morph them with synthesised creations in the studio so that the boundary between the real and unreal becomes blurred. This was mainly achieved through the use of resonators to create floating harmonics.

The album is officially released on all streaming platforms from the 24th November. It is available to purchase right now on Bandcamp. If you have read this far then message me as I have a free download code for you.

light gal is a rising star of London’s house and techno scene. Drawing influence from such labels as Terminal M, Drumcode, and Innervisions, as well listing DJs like Charlotte De Witte, Mha Iri and Massano as some of her many inspirations, light gal creates unique and exploratory sets ranging from dark and melodic to peak time techno. With appearances at across Ibiza, Florida as well as various venues accross London such as Ministry of Sound, Corsica Studios and Dalston Superstore, she is quickly emerging as a talent to watch.

Born in Surrey, one of her first introductions to dance music was during primary school, listening to compilations of Ibiza summer hits. She attended Reigate College, whose alumni include Disclosure and Fatboy Slim, and went on to study a Masters degree at the University of Bristol in Maths and Computer Science. It was here that her passion for the music was truly cemented, becoming a frequent visitor to legendary Bristol venues like Lakota, Motion, and Dojo Nightclub. After her studies, she moved back to Surrey, concentrating on her craft while working at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

She was first drawn to dance music through early underground dubstep from the likes of artists such as Plastician and Rusko. When the genre began to die down it opened her eyes to different sounds and styles, particularly house and techno. “The thing I love about the style of house I play is that everyone can be happy and dance along even if they don’t know the songs - it’s that sort of vibe. But with techno though, it’s the opposite. Dark, cold, industrial, yet melodic - but still stuff you can dance to!”

Light Gal kick-started her DJ career by performing in Ibiza over the Summer of 2017. During her time on the island, she performed at Ibiza Rocks and Hush nightclub, and was so well-received that she was invited back the following year. Since then, she has been busy - performing across London and establishing her own event ‘Minority Influence,’ which hopes to disprove the opinions and biases of people who consider the house and techno scene to be exclusively white and male, and looks forward to organising its next instalment soon. Between gigs, Light gal is currently curating DERILIKT Techno - a series of dark and melodic mixes, and the bi-annual Pure House Anthems, packed with UK House dance floor fillers.

Ren Ortega
Ren Ortega has been passionate about electronic music since childhood. In 2015, he entered the electronic music scene as a DJ and self-taught producer. By 2016, he had earned a certificate in Music Production from Aimec Joinville.

His project embraces the Minimal Techno style, delivering powerful, striking basslines intertwined with groove-heavy percussion.

Ren promises an electrifying performance, featuring fresh tracks and meticulously crafted mixes that keep the energy flowing and the dance floor alive.

I am a passionate lover of techno music. 
It's not just the music that I enjoy, but the entire culture that comes along with it. I love the energy and the vibe of the techno scene, and I feel like it's a community of like-minded people who appreciate the same kind of music as me.

I remember my first techno concert like it was yesterday. It was a small, intimate venue with a DJ spinning vinyl on a dimly lit stage. The bass was so loud that I could feel it pulsating through my body, and the crowd was completely lost in the music. The atmosphere was electric, and I knew right then and there that I had found my passion.

Since then, I have attended countless techno concerts and festivals. Techno music has become a way of life for me, and I don't think I could ever imagine my life without it.

Some people don't understand my love for techno music, and they think it's just noise. But to me, techno is so much more than that. It's a form of art that brings people together and creates a sense of unity that I haven't found anywhere else. It's a feeling that's hard to describe, but when the music is playing and the crowd is dancing, there's nothing else like it in the world.
