The Second track on the REPVII EP is Curses remixed by Milanos hot newcomer duo Younger Than Me. Both artists contributed tracks to RELISH COMP V.
Curses is the dark Italo and New Wave inspired project by New Yorker Luca Venezia. His track Her Violence Beauty got the trademark style treatment by the duo, which is a crossover between post-disco ,new-wave, house and electronic music with the inevitable 80's twist.

Mexican artist Mateo Gonzalez alias Bufi alias Theus Mago kicks off his 2020 vision with a three tracker, 'BAQA', on PETS Recordings and musically continues to deliver dance floor oriented music in the style of his 'Osla' EP, which included the omnipresent and well-received track 'Stadium Flutes'. 'Rave Dave', the B2 or EP's closing track is no exception regarding the aforementioned and is an instant classic. 'Classic' because the sound selection as well as the arrangement take you back to the early nineties of the last decade, to the die-hard rave days, to 'rave Dave', the stereotype of a raver, dancing all weekend but still being fresh on a Monday. 'Rave Dave' stands out due it's lush bass line or a 'thundering drum' combined with echoing ligneous sounding chords still giving the take an industrial vibe thatis emphasized by a mental melodic part in the middle part before the trippy intially introduced chords and a vocal guide the listener through the end of the track and right into a newly approaching musical thunderstorm. 

Theus Mago's EP 'BAQA' will be released on PETS Recordings on January 17th, 2020.

‘Glass Mistress’ sets the stark, stripped-back tone for the collection. Writhing and flexing in some late night 80s neon dungeon, there’s an added sense of barbed tech noir as the stern processed vocals stalk around a rifle-like arpeggiated bassline. ‘Trapped’ follows. The darkest track of the collection, there’s a strong stench of 90s warehouses and fields in the middle of nowhere as a big bass riff does all the talking. Heads down, hands up, this captures the essence of the music that’s brought us all together in the first place.

Finally ‘Naughty Party’ maintains the togetherness but in a much more mischievous way with a classic electro-style bassline, synth-tom percussion hits and eerie chords. Naughty by name, heavy by nature; Joyce has delivered something special right here.

A fine balance of groove, bass and cosmic nuances, we kick off with 'One Day We'll Float' where a bulbous party bassline springs from nowhere and instantly uplifts.

It's backed by plenty more goodtime gold: 'The Heart Take Fright' nods wryly at Yazoo while chugging from here to the horizon, 'Personal Numbness' is a much more contemplative, introspective jam while 'Electric Dreams' lives up to its name with a Moroder-like prowl that quickly turns into a full-on chase.
