The internationally acclaimed A Cappella group iNtrmzzo is one of Europe's most unique and innovative vocal bands,
able to perform in a wide variety of musical styles and always with a healthy dose of Dutch humor.

Sweden based, Dutch pianist and composer Leon den Engelsen came in touch with music early on when his mother would practice the piano at home. Soon after, he’d go to the local piano teacher and his musical journey began. In his teens Leon formed a band with his friends and a few years later he’d start touring with national and international artists and still today Leon tours with Iranian/Dutch singer/producer Sevdaliza for whom he also did most of the piano and keyboard recording. In 2011 Leon moved to New Orleans to study jazz music and in 2017 he finished a master degree at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. In 2018 Leon moved to Sweden where he build his recording studio in which he now writes and records his own music. In 2020 Leon released his debut EP, a work of 4 tracks that connects the acoustic and electronic worlds through dance music. 
In his forthcoming EP Leon goes back to his roots by recording piano improvisations and compositions in a close and intimate way, decorated with field recordings and ambient synths. Leon’s music feels raw and warm and makes the listeners feel as if they are in the same room. Leon den Engelsen is an improvising pianist with a huge love for field recordings, synths and electronics.
