10 - God’s Disease

“Demise” is the eighth chapter of The Tunnel, where the protagonist reaches his breaking point. Consumed by instability and despair, he decides to kill the woman he once loved—the one who first made him feel alive. There’s no turning back. This act is not just violence outward, but inward: the destruction of the last part of himself that could feel. He knows he’ll never sleep again. This is his own death, disguised as survival.

thunder and lighting show my path

to find eyes so calm
makes me feel more enraged

like I never commited such crime
