I am a rapper who is based in Norway. I have been writing and recording funky, thoughtful and catchy songs since 2019. I started out with writing poems on a blog I had, but found out I could combine rhyming with what I love the most, which is rap music. My vocals are smooth and give a kind of soothing feeling. I always try to add a beat which drives the song, and is catchy and well-produced. My topics are profound, original and has a goal to teach, express and dig deep into whatever I'm writing about. It could be a song about finding peace, happiness and growth, or it could be a song about learning from mistakes, taking action and trying to improve oneself. Always! I try to bring a new perspective to the topics I write about, and hope I can give listeners value for their time. I'm very dedicated, and appreciate all responses. JayGee is a songwriter and recording artist from Chicago, Illinois. Born in the 90s and growing up on the southside of the city, music and dance have been a part of his culture and upbringing from a very young age. Despite his focus at that time being an athlete, Art has always played a major role in his life, shaping him into the artist we see today. After writing & releasing his 1st single "Full Circle" in 2019, JayGee began to garner praise from peers and supporters for his work. This ultimately sparked a flame, motivating him to continue to pursue this new passion. With captivating lyrics and a smooth delivery, JayGee gives any fan, new or old, a great listen.

I make my beats, I am getting better at making my music.  Music is in my blood, it's been a great journey.  I play the drums, guitar, and a bit of keyboard remixes on my DJ controller. My music feels like a breath of fresh air. 

I am Dan Lockhart/ProgRockDan.  I am half of the duo Dan X2.  I enjoy making music with my partner Dan Blackard.  I was born in East St. Louis, Illinois.  I was raised in a rural area near Edwardsville, Illinois.  I have lived in San Antonio, Texas; Bad, Kreuznach, Germany;  Kansas City, Missouri; Columbus, Georgia; Haverhill Massachusetts;  St, Louis, Missouri, and Indianapolis, Indiana.  I have resided in Carmel Indiana for the past 20 + years.  I consider this home.  I have a small studio in my home.  I go to it everyday and work on creating (writing) songs.  I play bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin, pedal steel, piano, violin, and viola.  I use Cubase for my DAW.  I master using Izotope, Ozone.
