I recently had the honour of receiving Abdullah Ibrahim as my guest in the Brownswood basement where he shared some fascinating stories and lessons from his amazing life and career. 

Growing up under apartheid in South Africa, meeting and playing with legends in New York's Avant-Garde music scene and helping to shape the culture of a new South Africa have all given Abdullah a unique voice and understanding of the world. In this wide-ranging interview he discusses his philosophy and how it affects everything in his life, from playing music to his community work in the Green Kalahari and his impressions of London.
