Leo Araujo is the driving force behind the E-music project, renowned for its heavy basslines. Having been an electronic music enthusiast for 12 years, I have had the pleasure of performing at numerous festivals and clubs across South Brazil. Since 2018, I have realised my greatest dream of DJing internationally, sharing my music far and wide. Now based in Sydney, Australia, my sets are crafted to tell a story. If you’ve been paying any attention to the world of funky breakbeats then you’ve no doubt heard of Basement Freaks – the brainchild of George Fotiadis, a major force in the scene for well over ten years. Not only does he DJ regularly all over the globe to sold out crowds, he produces more music than almost any other DJ in the scene and also finds time to run his own label, Bombastic Jam. After more than 20 successful vinyl releases, 5 full albums, over 45 remixes and countless digital EPs, George has been called “The hardest working man in Funk”. His music has been praised all over the globe, with every respectable future funk DJ regularly including a Basement Freaks track in their set.

Basement Freaks headlined the world’s largest and best breakbeat festival – Shambhala – in Canada and Nave Groove in Brazil. During the last couple of years has performed in Ibiza ,Paris, Bangkok, Sydney, Calgary, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and the Lo Slung Electrofunk World tour witch found him performing in nearly every continent of the globe!

From 2017 and on Basement Freaks have released many unique and acclaimed sample packs for Black Octopus Sound, often incorporating global influences and traditional instruments, such as their "Argonautica – Kemençe of the Black Sea" and "Middle East Trap Percussion" packs.

Been around the music industry block a few times since 1974. This page is just to showcase my own personal DJ Mixes using TraktorDJ and music pretty much exclusively found on Soundcloud. With so much creative talent on Soundcloud I've been inspired to seek out fresh new versions of tracks I already have the originals of on vinyl.  I'm creating new mixes just for fun but am happy to play out for hard cash! ..Hope you enjoy....All mixes are live in one take, without cue headphones,not pre planned and if  "inthemix" sets they tend to start at one tempo and generally speed up which is how I always used to play out back in the day. Hopefully this way of mixing provide some off-thecuff vibes a bit lost in the age of super clinical laptop mixing..So go with the flow and sorry for any glichy mixes, that's live for you!
