As you can discover on this particular remix, RSN managed to bring the original song's dub-reggae-funk style along with the Reggae-Raga & Dancehall vocals from Gobey into his music style & territory, blended with soul, trip hop, downtempo and his floating music character over the original song. An instrumental version of the remix is included on the release.

Inside Kappadokia, alongside the instruments mentioned above, are also electronic Tambura, Tablas, and Sitar. These were purchased from the regions during travels, and then brought back to the studio for Basement Freaks to perform and record with his all-inspiring, organic and warm techniques.

Slyde were a UK DJ/producer duo named Robin Twelftree and Jason Laidback both with a well established musical background. The duo started the Slyde project back in 2002 and soon caught the eye of Finger Lickin Records a label which they called home for quite a few years and a place where they released their unique sound of Funky high tempo breaks including the well known track "Slipperty Slide". Gaining a huge following the duo toured bringing their unique sound all over the world. This mix was a promotional item for Finger Lickin Records back in 2010.

I had a look around on the net and couldn't find it any where but i did download it 13 years ago and kept a copy on one of my hard drives all this time. Exploring DJing at 14 Yrs old, Bliss was baptized into a mid-eighties music scene. 
Listening and collecting music like instrumental/groove heavy rock & funk along with early freestyle and dubs, Bliss’ ear recognized this fusion of electronic & soul that touched people.
Studying the Elements of being a B-Boy, he became aware of the electronic sounds that not only caught his ear but that also moved the crowds.
Then came the Miami Bass explosion (BOOM)! Pounding 808 bass along with booty shaking females made being a pioneer in this genre quite exciting. As a national touring DJ for KJ and da’ Fellas (Get Retarded, Let’s Get This Party Started, and more), Bliss refined his craft leaving crowds in awe with his natural talent behind the turntables.
Bliss would practice daily to achieve this level not only for himself, but his lifelong friend Exotic E (RIP!) Countless hours between these 2 artists laid the foundation for many entertaining shows, moving many diverse crowds across the nation. Touring with 2-Live Crew on the Move Something Tour as kids was something these young artists would have never even dreamed about, but it happened!

Political issues kept it closed, but he still brought in Florida DJs/Artists like Chang & Matty playing Melodic and Intelligent, bass driven dance music, no matter the genre. Many memorable residencies & late-nighters, including an Epic night w/ Sven Vath, and the Pinnacle Outdoor Party of its time with The Hardkiss Brothers are still talked about.
