It came to pass in those days that a young man named Florian lived in the quiet valleys of Austria. He was a dreamer, searching for a sound that could touch the soul.

One day, while visiting a friend, he beheld a wondrous device — a minstrel’s button box (DJ controller), its lights sparkling like the stars. In that moment, he recognized his path. Two days later, he acquired such a tool for himself and diligently practiced its use. Yet soon, he asked himself, “Why should I only play the works of others? I want to create my own soundscapes!”

Fate led him to a wise master of Psytrance, who instructed him in the magical workshop of Cubase. Florian became passionate about the craft of music production and soon discovered an even more powerful tool: Ableton Live. With great zeal, he combined his knowledge and refined his melodies through long nights, until he became a master of his art.

As Nero Effecta, he created a unique sound: New School G-Prog, blended with melodic Psytek and psychedelic effects. Those who listened to his works were transported to magical soundscapes. His name echoed far beyond the mountains, and his art touched hearts across the lands.

And so, Nero Effecta lives on to this day, creating new melodies and dreaming further in the realm of music.

Meet Bashir, a true 90s kid and a rave enthusiast. He's all about the music that defined that unforgettable era. Trance and jump-infused neorave are his forte, capturing the raw essence of the 90s. Picture a time machine through music, a blend of retro and futuristic vibes. Being a resident DJ for Rave Alert for more than a decade and founder of Alors on trance and Ragga Terror Front, he's all about sharing the love for those beats. Bashir's just a guy who loves bringing back the 90s feels, making you reminisce about the neon lights and the carefree spirit of that time. It's about reliving the moments, one beat at a time, as he takes you on a trip back to the golden age of rave. So, get ready to groove and feel the good old 90s vibe when Bashir is behind the decks.

Then:
Bought my first Kam belt drive record decks in 1998, and started DJ-ing shortly around Cork City and County as well as getting a slot on local stations Kiss FM, NRG FM, Klub FM and a few shows on the legendary Radio Friendly. Genres at the time- trance, house and hard-house. Also started using Acid Pro to make my own edits and mashups.

Having been retired from the DJ-ing game since 2006, Ableton Live filled the void as I started to learn to produce tracks.

Now...
In 2019, I picked up my first midi controller, a Pioneer SB3 with Serato Pro and started putting new set mixes on mixcloud.

Currently, I'm putting out bootlegs and mashups using Ableton as a kind of learning curve to making original tracks.

Short term goal - 2k+ followers. DONE!
Long term goal - get something signed! DONE!
New goals incoming, roll on 2023!
