"I'm Just Another Upcoming Artist Out of NYC"
My name is Jennifer Santiago, also known as JEAN DASH. I am 22 years old and was born and raised in the Bronx. I actually started doing music at the age of Seventeen. Since then, I've never thought about having another career other than music. It didn't matter if I was the actual artist or just participating in musical events. Music puts me in a place where I feel at peace, I feel like thats home for me and it is where I will always be.

Bash the Trash builds, performs and educates with musical instruments made from recycled and reused materials.  Our family-friendly festival shows feature rockin' tunes, fun singalongs and wild instrumentals with our junk instruments.  Not just a percussion group that plays on odd things, our invented instruments include strings, woodwinds and brass as well as percussion - we even allow a few "real" instruments to join us onstage.  Bash the Trash and its alter-ego The Junksters are the performing arm of Bash the Trash® Environmental Arts, founded and directed by the husband-and-wife creative team of John Bertles and Carina Piaggio.
