Warm, emotive, and explorative - a set of characteristics that make up the enchanting vision of Zara (@zaraolsen), one of the most exciting talents hailing from the Australian scene. Whether it’s IDM, drum and bass, or techno, the Kinesis label-head fuses it all with an enigmatic sense of delicacy. Her distinctive sound on the crossroads of the calm and the energetic resulted in releases on labels such as Animalia, Salt Mines, and Pure Space. Her sets have been turning heads within the international electronic music scene, playing at places like De School, Tresor, and Donato Dozzy’s Spazio Disponsible label showcase. Harmonizing the ethereal and the ominous - Zara takes a gentle yet firm grip on minds and souls on and off the dancefloor.

Mostra (@mostrabcn) is an independent, small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music which emerged by the end of 2021 as a counterpoint to the macro-festivals and the overcrowded, commercial and impersonal offerings of other large events held in Barcelona. Mostra will be celebrating its fourth edition from 17 to 20 April in 2025.

Tbilisi stalwart BMI brings his esoteric sound to Zenaari’s Podcast series for this next instalment. Today we celebrate the 50th chapter of our podcast and for the occasion there's a special one served for you. 10 years ago when we were still trance heads and started to discover the world of technoid sounds some albums gave an important impact on us. We got to hear this tribalistic and beautiful track called "Trance State" in a mixtape and when finding the whole album with its concept, artwork and hearing the rest of the music, it touched our souls. Something new but still familiar. After some years we were fortunate to be able to work with the author of that masterpiece for remix work and we're proud to have his contribution on Navigare Audio.

Zara's recent releases on Butter Sessions with Command D and solo on amenthia recordings as well as Animalia, Amniote Editions, QEONE, and Pure Space, have been a staple in my sets so I'm super excited to welcome Zara on the show whilst she's here in London!
